Afterhour Cikini — Restaurant in Jakarta

Honestly, this place was so close to getting 5 stars 🌟. The service was a little slow at first as we had to wait really long for a digital menu, and no one would serve us. Once we got service, it was really good and efficient. Bathrooms were impressively clean! All the pool tables 🎱 were taken, which is a bummer but were in great condition 👍🏽. Great DJ playing good music!

The downside: We ordered 3 cocktails, and they were all charged at a different price than the menu. Blue Lagoon: +/- 81 000 but 120000 on bill Honeymoon: 65000 on menu but 120000 on bill. Long Island Ice Tea 91000 on the menu but 120000 on the bill.

When we asked, we were told that the price on the menu is before tax and the service charge. That's standard most places in Indonesia however, how did all three cocktails, with different prices, end up with the same price for the bill? Also, they added a service charge and tax at the bottom of the bill anyway 🫣.

Whatever policies they have regarding prices should be transparent and disclosed with customers...

I’m new at billiard and love to try out new billiard places in Jakarta. Afterhour Cikini is one of my favorite go to billiard place.

Even though the waiting list is sometime just that long(cause it’s just that good) it’s because so many people go here especially on weekday! I would just wait and spend my night here with my boyfriend and friends.

Also you could just hang around in their lounge with their amazing cocktails, my favorite so far is Pot Ju Va(soju based)

So I would recommend Afterhour Cikini 100% for their services include friendly staff, high quality food and beverage, price, DJ everyday at 10PM and pool-themed bar experience.

We recently visited this restaurant and were assisted by their public relations staff. While they happened to know my friend, as a first-time customer I felt somewhat uncomfortable as they spent time at our table, engaged in lively conversations among themselves, and having drinks. This gave the impression that they were more focused on their own interactions than on the guests’ experience.
