It is THE place for meet-ups!

First, I really appreciate their ambience. Even though I came on a Saturday afternoon, it was delightful. The crowds are scattered throughout their cleverly designed layouts with nooks, crannies, and subtle separations. It maintains this simple open air feel, but you can somehow still have your privacy. You definitely don't need to shout to strike conversations with your partners and waiters. It's well air conditioned so you won't sweat while you talk for hours, and the music is ever so subtle to accompany your gossips and chit-chats.

Second, the service is top notch. They are well staffed, and friendly. Service can be a little bit slow, but you are there not for the food. You are there for the convos.

Third, their Kopi Kampung is the bomb. Like KABOMB! Strong but milky. Nuff said. Taro latte is fragrant and not too sweet. Just perfect.

Their small bites are somewhat mediocre. I ordered caesar salad (which I found slightly too salty) and their truffle fries can use more truffles. Ehehe.

But, their desserts are on point. I like my matcha lava cake ooey-gooeyness. And when you combine it with their vanilla ice cream and crushed pistachio, it's just perffffect. The french toast is crispy and the tangy berry sauce complemented it elegantly.

The price is slightly steep, but for the place, the service, the ambience, the strategic location? I can say that it worths every penny.

A DEFINITE...

We were sitting there as a group, and they moved us suddenly, they said it'll be better and more comfie to move to VIP area. And then we opened a bottle afterwards, and after 2 hours later, we ordered dinner. Just right after we finished our dinner, we even still chewed their grilled ribs, the waiter came, and ask us if we can close the bill and leave immediately because our table just got a reservation, because time limit to sit there is only 2.5 hrs max. Which in my opinion wouldn't be possible for that short of time if you were opening a bottle of liquor, and have good nice chat with good friends. The waiter name that said he was the manager was Ikhsan, and the way they "cast out" us was very rude. Yesterday we were about to order another bottle actually. But this bad experience really shocked us, and truly sickened us to even step our feet in this place in the future. Nice place is useless if the service is very bad. I don't know if the owner is the one who made this policy or simply lousy staf they had. Anyway, 1 star. As what "Ikhsan" said "it's fine to give us 1 star on google review". My friend & I decided to meet up here, just go show, without reservation. We consider that during the fasting month, this place won't be so crowded. My friend arrived first around 12.00 PM and there weren't many visitors. She went in first, and the greeter informed her that she has 2,5 hours for dine in. I arrived around 30 minutes later.

The restaurant has an on going promo. IDR 25K (before tax & service) for all coffees drink. I ordered iced hazelnut latte & iced mocha. A bit watery for my taste, but considered that the price is affordable, I'm not complaining. My friend ordered fried rice, and she said the price is still reasonable and the taste is quite good.

Their service is good, all staffs on duty are very polite and ready to explain whenever we need information.

They have non smoking and smoking area for visitor. But after 8 PM, all area for smoking, usually they have live music at the time. Soon, they will have the outdoor area ready for visitors. The non smoking area is very spacious, and there is enough distance between one table to another.

A bit pity this restaurant only have few choices...
