Animo Bakery Tebet — Restaurant in Jakarta

I‘ve been Animo‘s long time online customer and today I decided to visit their store in Tebet, hoping to buy a wheat bread.

What I found was very shocking as their bread was covered in fungi, and when I asked the waiter she said that it was baked 3 days ago!! Off course it was spoiled.

The lady explained to me that they don‘t freshly baked their bread and just wait until they got their bread being delivered to the store, which doesnt happen everyday.

So be careful when you decided to purchase their bread. The only thing that were freshly baked were their pastries, which I tried and it was good...

I often buy animo from grab/gofood near my home in cipete outlet, because i looove the coffee here and also the pastries. I ever try their brownies, blueberry danish, cinnamon roll, beef quiche, tuna puff and donut. And all the food was soo good. For the coffee itself it's more milky so the coffee not too strong but the taste not too sweet, balance for my taste.

And this is the first time i came to the store in tebet. And the taste it still the same like i remember what i usually have in cipete outlet. The price itself is affordable. 22k for coffee and around 10-20k ish for...

One of the best Kopi Susu in town that has those creamy, milky taste. Gula aren taste is not too strong which I like. Now you can ask to make the coffee less sugar.

Apart from the Kopi Susu, their Es Coklat is also great! Perfect combination of chocolate and milk.

They also offer wide range of pastries. Their Blueberry Cheese Danish is very good especially if you put it in the fridge. They also have Sourdough Toast (new products).

Available on both Gofood and Grab if you don't want to visit. Honestly, this Tebet branch maintains the same quality with its original...
