Soto Gebraak(Tebet) — Restaurant in Jakarta

The meal is actually quite good, but if the meal is being presented with the standard ingradients as what shown in the TV Show of the restaurant in each weekend "Food & Resto" in Jkt. I know the quality of the meal of the resto since firstly opened 24 yrs ago, but after several yrs not visited the joint I stopped by to taste the famous Soto Gebrak & frankly I am fully disappointed looking at the meal being presented with which the content of the meal (The Soto) is 70% being cut-off from the standard content of the meal I knew before. Even though I loose my appetite I still tried to take a spoon to taste the soup. Oh boy, that's it,...

There's always something new to experience in life, eh?

Dining here is one of them. Soto was full of spices, which I like, the soup is thick and delicious, but I don't see the "Koya" though, or is it not necessary? When asked for "hot" tea, they bring super hot ones, which I like.

I have no complaints, but, they should be able to warm the "satays". They should be able to clean the place more. They should help the customers with more hygiene.

The best part of it, every time they did the "Gebrak", we were all like "shocked" 🤣🤣🤣

PS: first time here, first time experiencing Soto "Gebrak".

Lokasi : Sebenernya deket banget sama Jalan Abdullah Syafei. Sekitar 40 meter mungkin, tapi RM ini ada di Jl Tebet Utara 1 yang satu arah. Kalo dari arah timur perlu muter dulu. Kenampakan RM ini dari luar seperti warung kaki lima. Parkir : Gada tempat parkir khusus di RM ini buat mobil, bahkan juga motor. Mobil bisa parkir paralel di sepanjang Jl Tebet Utara 1 yang satu arah ini. Tenang, ada tukang parkirnya kok. Kalau mau parkir di pinggir Jl Abdullah Syafei dan jalan kaki ke RM ini, sepertinya ga memungkinkan juga karena di jalan itu adalah pertokoan juga. Meja : Meja yang tersedia ada 6, meja yang cukup besar. Tiap mejanya bisa untuk 8 orang. Semua meja ada kerupuk, telur asin. Tapi ga semua meja ada gorengan dan persateannya. Gebrak : Di sana selama 30 menit, cuma dapet gebrakan 3 kali. Suara gebraknya itu seperti ada suara sendok jatuh, suara nyaring gitu, baru suara kayu dipukul. Bener2 bikin kaget. Inget ya, kalo kaget ga boleh marah haha. Kalo gamau kaget, liatin aja terus meja dapurnya 😂. Mereka ngegebrak di saat gada pengunjung yang lagi makan, seperti saat milih menu, nunggu makanan dihidangkan. Soto : Makan soto gebraak ini, sekilas mirip soto lamongan tapi dengan rempah yang lebih banyak yang bikin kuah jadi kental dan keruh. Menurutku juga lebih berminyak dibanding soto lamongan. Walo kuahnya kental dan keruh, entaj kenapa rasa rempahnya masih kurang kuat buatku. Daging sapinya cukup besar walo tipis. Semangkok soto campur, kurang lebih ada 9 potong daging.
