B'Steak Grill & Pancake Sedayu City Kelapa Gading — Restaurant in Jakarta

Came on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. The staffs were very nice and kind. Thr place is quite spacious and comfy.

Tried the lemon pepper salmon and steak gravy penne for the main course. For dessert we picked the salted caramel grilled banana pancake. And for drinks went for a classic lemon tea and a sweet biscoff milkshake.

The lemon pepper salmon comes with a garlic bread, a choice of sides (mashed potatoes/baby potatoes/fried potatoes), a choice of sauces (bbq/mushroom/creamy mushroom), and a choice of vegetables (cream corn/sauteed veggies/cream spinach). This time we chose mashed potatoes, mushroom sauce and sauteed veggies. The salmon itself was well marinated and doesnt reek of fishy smell. The mashed potato however is too creamy in my opinion, the taste of potato is almost not there. The sauteed veggies and mushroom sauce were standard taste.

The steak gravy pasta can be accompanied by several choices of pasta (penne/spaghetti/fettucine/shirataki). This time we paired it with penne. The gravy is nice, creamy and savory. The steak is soft and still juicy. It also comes with a garlic bread.

The salted caramel grilled banana pancake was sweet, but has a bit of salty taste from the salted caramel. The pancake is also topped with vanilla ice cream. I recommend trying this for dessert as it is really refreshing. It's cold, sweet and abit salty, a very nice combination of taste.

The classic lemon tea tastes classic like any lemon tea. The biscoff milkshake is too sweet for my taste, maybe will have to order less sweet next time around.

Overall, the experience and food is nice. Will be back to try out...

Unbelievable value for a great dining experience! Endless menu selections with customization options, indoor & outdoor seatings, following health protocols, and quality service.

The only thing that bugs me off is their food preparation time. Quite slow on a empty day.

Steak was good, fries was an absolute delight! Their creamed spinach is fair, better than the simple veggies option. Sauces are nice, nothing extraordinary. Garlic bread was okay.

I recommend ordering steak topper(s) to enhance your meal! (Mushroom & galic, or the Shrimp)

Tacos was nice, quite authentic to Mexican restaurants in the states with salsa and guacamole sauce.

Their Rosti was great and crunchy, bit oily imo. Basically a deep fried, hard-pressed, hash brown topped with cheese and gravy.

Pasta was Al dente! Real nice for a price of $3.50

Meat Pie (savory) was okay, good pastry, fair fillings. Will try their famous pancake next time when I leave room for desert 🍰

Tea and iced tea are totally wallet-friendly, less than 19,000IDR//15,000IDR with unlimited refills! What a bargain! 👍🏻

20 Jan 2020 (about 6pm) I dislike it when: I enter the resto n staff sit me at a table then leave me alone. I need to get attention for service n a menu to order. They don't tell me what's unavailable. They take my order n set the table accordingly. After waiting 15 minutes, I am informed that one of my orders "lagi abis". It's 6pm and the resto is just preparing for dinner service, yet the only soup dish is "lagi abis". I make a complaint n ask for the manager. A uniformed staff appears n claims to be the manager to reinforce the "lagi abis" excuse, then walks away like he's done his job well by telling me what I already know. 10 minutes later someone else claims to be the manager and explains it's actually his time off, and that the previous "manager" was actually not the manager A hundred maafs later and I walk out without having my dinner at a highly recommended steak restaurant.

Bad experience - never will I return to...
