If you looking for a great quality food with great service, I would suggest not to come here.
I decided to write this review after a day after my visit. Its very rare to me to give a review abt restaurant. I must say i felt very dissapointed and embarassed.
I visited with my friends and there were 7 of us. When we arrived, the waitress did not tell us abt minimum order or something like that. Once she took our order which there were 5 of us eating dinner and 2 others just want to get a drink. The waitress asked âis that it?â And I said âwe certainly will order more. But for now, yes its our orderâ then the waitress went to the kitchen or whatever.
Some minutes later the Korean lady came to our table and said our order was too few and everyone must eat. No one canât order only drink bcs its not a cafe (this is not exaggeration, those words were true said by Korean lady).
Oke then we decided to look on the menu to see what else to order. While we were looking our order, she keep talking something like âwe are giving free drinks and side dishes. Your order is too few and you only order drink. This is not cafe. This is public holiday and people are queueing to eatâ
After that we order and eat but the vibe was really awkward and off. We did enjoy the food but the experience was BIG NO.
The wors part was when we are eating, she was walking around our table as watched us. We felt very uncomfortable and awkward.
We felt underistimated by her as customers who did not paid or not suitable eat in her place.
Well, we understand truly if there were minimum order policy. Every restaurant has their own policy. However, it would be nice if customers were told at the very beginning especially when the waitress has so many chances to tell us nicely.
Its not the policy that we dissapointed but HOW TO SAY it that we really felt dissapointed. Will not come back in...
Read moreThe place: my go to Korean BBQ place. Has a very Korean BBQ vibes. Itâs quite big with some parking spaces. They have the table grill but you can also ask to have your meat grilled in their kitchen. They have several branches but this is the only place that I keep coming back to.
The food: their banchan are one of the tastiest! Fresh kimchi is on point and mini pajeon is something youâll ask for refills. Itâs good! Their pork selection are great, they have samgyeopsal, ogyeopsal, marinated pork, cheek meat, and other delicious part of pig. And the meat doesnât have that pork smell. The beef selection will be the reason youâre coming back. My favourite are their wang galbi and premium ribeye.. tasted like perfection. I tried their non barbecue menu as well and theyâre all tasty! Kimchi jiggae, haemul pajjeon, naengmyeon. They come in a big portion so itâs perfect to share. Aaand do not leave before you try their makgeoli! Itâs the freshest and tastiest makgeolu in town.
The price: the beef selection are quite pricey but the other dish (pork bbq) are okay.. and again theyâre worth it.
The service: service are good. Sometimes the sajangnim will check on you.
TL;DR Place 4/5 Food 4.5/5 Price...
Read moreExcellent Korean BBQ restaurant with about 10 chains across Jakarta. You are allowed to cook your own meat, but best if you let one of the numerous employees help you out. As soon as you are seated, little appetizer plates are brought out.
Go for the rice wine. Served in a bowl with a ladle, you drink the sweet and sour alcohol out of a small bowl. 1 bowl is only 100,000 rp and can get 2 people buzzed.
Fresh cuts of meat. They typically show you what the meat looks like before cooking it, so you can examine the quality.
Fair prices, about 1,000,000 rp for 4 adults (2 men and 2 women) to get really full and happily tipsy.
Large tables available for bigger parties. Recommended to make a reservation if your party is +6.
Interior is decorated with beautiful wood and plants. Ventilation is great inside the restaurant and smoking is allowed.
