Nasi Campur Kacamata Grand Wijaya Center — Restaurant in Jakarta

First of all, having pork house in the area was great, helping me and others who works in the area, the opportunity to have the awesomeness and deliciousness of those meat. And this place serve it 24 hours. This was a point plus for them.

The place wasn't that big, two level, but i never knew if we could use the upstairs, i always on the ground level. But it was clean enough to eat comfortably.

They have quite a lot of waiters, so you could just ask for them, and they'll come right at you. Not like some place where you have to wait even for the waiter to come.

Now for main thing, the food. This is where it gets a bit dissatisfied. The taste of the seasons was just okay. And the meat was a bit dry. Even the hainam rice was too dry too. So if you're looking for the juicy and tender and melted meat, this wasn't it. The good thing is, their pork porridge was still a good one. So i would still...

Have a standing appointment near here once a week and we make it a point to have our brunch of nasi hainam campur here. The honey glazed red pork is really good - tender, juicy and so flavorful. My elderly dad is losing half his teeth but he can enjoy this (Kenanga's are sometimes to tough for him). Everything on the nasi campur platter is juicy and tender.

During pandemic this place is also better than Kenanga (which can get quite full). People sometimes don't realise this place is a restaurant due to its name...

Nasi Campur Babi is one of Jakarta’s food favourites. This place does their own interpretation of Nasi campur kenanga. Ordered their Nasi Haniam special, Bubur chasiu telor pitan and their famous honey Babi madu.

All was very yummy. The Bubur hit the spot, the Nasi Haniam rice was flavoursome and their meats were good as well. Their Babi madu was the star of the meal. It tasted like bakwa and was very sweet, crispy like and chewy....
