My last 2 visits were two dramatically different experiences. I felt that there was one thing common and one thing different from both experiences.
When i visited The Cutt for the first and second time, i both had the same expectations, however i felt that what was brought up to the table was at clearly different quality.
To start off, i ordered the exact same menu, 200g Tenderlion and a simple iced lemon tea. My beverage came out, and the first thing i noticed was that it was filled to the brin with iced cubes. I clearly ordered lemon tea with ice, not ice with lemon tea. From this point on i had already saw what was coming. As i was waiting for my mains, i cant help noticing the ambience. This, for one, remained consistent. The atmosphere and design felt comfy and relaxing. A few minutes later the waitress came with the food. The orders came correctly. However, when i saw the plate, it didnt look like what i remembered. The steak obviously look smaller, my mashed potatoes is at a smaller portion, the rosemary herb didnt look fresh, and the mushroom sauce was at a different consistency. Just from the looks of it, i thought i would be having a long, long lunch, but boy did i just had a short one. As i bit into my first bite, not only did it came up to my expectations, the rub wasnt as flavourful as the first time. It didnt feel as filling as my first visit.
Another order on the table was the baby chicken. Though it was the first time it was ordered, it was pretty disappointing as well. The chicken didnt feel well seasoned and the meat felt drier that that of a fast food chain. The creamy spinach on the sides though felt quite decent despite its small portion.
As for the price, it stayed the same. However for its current quality, i think the meal would have lost some of its value and no longer worth its cost. A meal like so would have cost a little less, as the flavours were very standard.
One thing i felt improved, though, was in how well they cooked the steak. My first visit had my steak undercooked. On my second visit, not only did they cook it well, they also asked for reviews on it right after it was delivered on to the plate.
Overall it was a quite disappointing visit, and i would even put my next visit into consideration. The food felt like it came out of a standardized product line.
Last words, i think i would still totally recommend this place for a first time visit, though my experiences would speak for your second visit.

First came the sirloin. It came well done on the edges and medium in the exact center only. Maybe one bite was medium rare. It was also butchered horribly with the silver skin membrane still attached between the fat cap and the meat.
Then came the ribeye. This time it came raw... No, not rare. RAW. at least this one came with pretty good looking grill marks unlike @mockingbird_jkt 's steak that I reviewed previously. And just like at @mockingbird_jkt , I did not finish this steak. To top it all off this steak has the silver skin and the rubbery undigestable bits still fully attached. It took some surgery with an inadequate steak knife they provided to get it separated.
Don't come here expecting a well cooked steak. Thank you for responding, but whether the server asked to cut open the steak as soon as it arrives (which will make it dry unless the steak has been rested by the kitchen) or they didn't, the problem still remains. The problem is that the restaurant has absolutely NO quality control and their cooks has no idea on how to cook the steak.
Why not try to teach your staff to actually cook steak...

I ordered sirloin steak medium done with sauted mushroom, mashed potato, and white mushroom sauce. It was good. The steak is very rich in spices and loved the butter. It is a bummer that they got cold very fast :( Oh and I think they could improve the mashed potato since it's too dry for me. Probably give it some more cream or milk? The other part of the steak is ok, though. Especially the corn cob. We. Loved. It!😍
My friend ordered seabass with steamed veggies, potato wedges, and bbq sauce. She liked all of them. It was all delicious according to her. For drink we ordered earl grey and cammomile tea. It's also a refill as you can ask for more hot water every time. As dessert, we ordered Pistachio Milk Cake. Loved the cake! since it's not too sweet.
What bothered me most was just the noise the roof made when it was raining. It was very loud that I can barely heard my friend talking to me. Hope they do something about it since we're getting into rainy season soon.
Overall, a worth it experience. Definitely worth the price. Would recommend...
