Larazeta - one of our favourite Arabic restaurants in Jakarta!
We visited Larazeta on Friday evening and were surprised by the great taste and the nice location.
It is located around 20 minutes away from central Jakarta. We have never visited this area before, but wanted to try a new Arabic restaurant.
Even the facade and the great door were lovely, you feel like you enter an oriental world by stepping into the house. The restaurant is at level 3, there is an elevator you can use.
Not at the rooftop, but a little higher with a balcony and a better view, you can dine inside or outside. The decoration is nice, authentic and colourful. More cozy and suitable for families, not very romantic or high-class.
The service is really polite and makes every effort for the guests.
The food is super delicious!!! We had the mixed appetizer platter TWICE! It was super good hummus, muamara, babsganoush... excellent! It was served with pita bread. I had a salad which was fresh and a great side dish for the grilled chicken with authentic spices and juicy meat. We ordered a mint tea with fresh mint... and it was like in Maroc. What a lovely idea!
All in all, five stars and a big recommendation for a cozy family evening (they offer big plates...
Read moreCame here twice, yesterday and few years back when it just opened. Few years back was sweet, the front officer took me to each floor to look around and show the gallery before finally took me to the reserved place for me and some friends. Yesterday, when i asked reservation place under my friend's name, the front officer just said: first floor the room on the left at the corner. That's it. We made our own way to 1st floor, and no body was there to really show where it is. We ordered the Arabian tea, and wanted to have brown sugar with it, one of the waiter said they ran out brown sugar. We then asked another waiter, he said they have it. Ladies staff downstairs also not hospitable. Can' believe it. Taste was just ok, but price is quite high. I think i won't come for the third time here again. Not a good value for...

But again they say: if u use that table, meaning need to settle all bills... Of course I couldn't because someone will pay for the gathering and it's not me!
But because I already promise my granma to bring that sambosa, so I end up just pay that ridicolous 75k, and never walk through their door again, no matter how close this resto from my...
