[Drinks] Drinks are pretty good. The coffee is helpful for extra alertness if needed. And the non-coffee is refreshing. Average price range is around 20-30k for a drink (base without upsize or extras).
[Service] Mixed feelings with the service. Some are friendly (thanks for making me feel welcomed!), and some others are unfriendly (doesn't smile, avoids eye contact, no "thank you" or any positive communication). This is my major factor whether i would decide to visit or not on any given day. If most of them (or all of them) are friendly, Fore Coffee Greenville has the potential to be my most go-to cafe for work. Otherwise, it's still a split with brands like Kancha and JCO (Kancha is best for friendly workers, and even JCO can feel more friendlier than some of my experience in Fore Coffee Greenville). But again, some are friendly :) One thing though, it's very annoying when i already state my drink in detail (including size and temperature), and still be asked whether i want to upsize or add extras. It makes me feel that i'm not welcomed to stay unless i buy large sizes with extras. They are there in the menu, and i can see them, if i wanted them i would've ordered them.
[Atmosphere] AC is very cold (which is nice for sunny afternoon), if you are prone to low temperature and want to stay for hours, be prepared to wear 2 layers of clothing (or a jacket). Wi-fi is fast and pretty reliable (haven't had any major connection issue). Electrical outlets are available under most seatings. It seems that 1 of them is broken, and i hope they can find a way to fix it soon. Toilet is not that unclean, but can be cleaner with more frequent maintenance. Particularly with tissues being everywhere near the hand wash basin/sink. There are two toilet cabins so waiting line is not an issue.
[Overall] Recommended for the drinks and overall vibes. Service is not that bad (acceptable with the presence of some friendly workers) but can...
Read moreThe coffee was great, I ordered the latte, which didnât contain any sugar, but the blend was somehow sweet because of the combination of the milk and espresso. I also like the the cup they used, which uses this soft foam-like coating for hot beverages which feels premium, too bad the lid looks quite cheap because the cutting looks not refined and the glossy part are all scratched.
The service during the service wasnât bad per se, itâs just the server that I made order with spoke at really low volume, and kept at it although I had to ask him several times to repeat what he said bcs I couldnât hear him. The bad part was that there are leftovers plate on several tables that never gotten to be cleaned during my 1 hour stay there (it wasnât crowded at all, table wasnât full, and only few new people once a while). The supposedly beautiful natural moss on the cashier desk was also gotten patchy and made droppings, which create unsanitary feelings, plus, the bathroom door was always open so you can always see the toilet and urinal. The wall are also dirty with smudges.
All in all, I think this coffee shop really does have the potential to feel like a premium coffee shop, with great product, and what I can imagine with the original condition of the shop. All the criticisms I make here is me hoping they can just maintain to keep up...
Read moreThe male barista frequently sneaks into the toilet to smoke. Whenever I use the toilet after him, it reeks. This has happened multiple times, possibly three or four.
Nevertheless, the atmosphere is quite good and it needs proper maintenance in the near future. The baristas used to play loud music near closing time, but it seems they have been warned about this and have...
