Journey Coffee — Restaurant in Jakarta

The food taste great, the spicyness makes me craving for more. Guests could also see the kitchen and the cook. But, it took quite long time until it was ready to serve.

The waiters were so nice and well educated about Zomato Gold benefit. But the cashiers were not that nice. The waiters/waitresses chatted among them loudly, which made me a bit uncomfortable.

In terms of cleanliness of the toilet, I would say they need to pay more attention to the cleanliness. When I was there, it didn’t smell good and the toilet papers were out of bin.

I like this place cause it has several sitting options, such as sofas, bird nest, and there are several wooden swings inside the non-smoking area.

I would recommend this place for those who want to hang out and chat with friends. Maybe not a place for working remotely, since there were only a few plugs available for...

Very disappointed with their service, waiting for more than 1 hour, just to hear their reasons "sorry, the place is crowded". I sat while watching these lousy and disrespectful employees walked through my table without asking permission. And when I cancelled, there was no apology but they asked "you couldn't cancel!", I eventually managed to leave this silly place by giving my very ethical reason "I didn't order, and you are still forcing me to wait for hours?". Cleanliness : 1/5 (smells so bad, just like a public toilet) Food & Beverages : ?/5 (I couldn't order) Services : 1/5 (Employees couldn't even ask nicely nor smile) Place : 2/5 (It was nice interior, but the A/Cs were like broken, and MY SPACE IS SO LIMITED, I even sat while my legs on the table)

Coffee tastes great but a ristretto double shot in a flat white is not quite a flat white..A flat white not only is the texture of steaming milk important but also the size of the cup 190ml with a full 25-30ml double 18-22gm shot that is extra hot but not scalding... (Around 1:1.5 - 1:2 ratio) As a kiwi barista myself coming here since you opened a few years ago... You got to get this right. The barista is so awesome and has so much potential! Attitude and personality is key to being a barista.. Serving staff need to have a few shots themselves to get up to speed.. If they walked with any less energy they would fall asleep.

No AC so it's pretty hot and sticky, music level is so low I feel I am an unwanted guest in someones house.
