Kedai Disto - Kedai Cangkir — Restaurant in Jakarta

Disto is an excellent place where you get to hang out with your friends and they don’t bother to open up their phones.

Tables are communal, food are communal—mostly— the drinks menu as well (plenty of alcohol). Decor is particularly rustic. Owner was a jazz percussionist who brought his souvenirs to the walls.

The sambals are to die for. Their specialty is the ikan patin bakar. They also serve fried grasshopper but if you try to order it they’ll tell you they haven’t caught them yet in the nearby grasslands :)

The ambiance transports you to Jogja right away. It's small but cozy and warm. The staff and even the owner are really nice and attentive. The mie godog jogja was presented in a clay pot, which makes the food stay warm until the last bite. It tasted good, just like the one in Jogja. They serve beers. It's just great! The coffee is pretty good as well. Tons of outdoor space.

Very similar style of warung you found around Bali or Yogyakarta. Old wood and just chill, beer is available. Located in main road Cipete but no parking space though. Food is delicious, especially their Patin Bakar with that green chili sauce (65k). Fried Rice also highly recommend, just tell the chef to cook it less salty.
