A local ol'school coffee shop in Kelapa Gading Area. Located in the "culinary lane" area, like Aloi Noodle, Kopi Johnny and Kofei.
Serving light / not so heavy and heavy (see the attached menu).
We tried Roti Nougat Meses (recommended) and Roti abon. Black ice and Kopi Susu Aren.
Roti Nougat Meses : perfect for you my fellow sweet tooth disciples. SUPERB!
Roti Abon: perfect for you my savoury lovers Brothers and Sisters!
Kopi Gula Aren: light and slightly sweet. It will never ruin your meal's after taste.
Es Kopi: dark and slightly bitter. A perfect balance with your savoury / sweet snacks.
Plenty of space: outdoor: front and back yard, indoor: GF and 1st Floor.
Overall: this is one of the few TOP NOTCH coffee shop in Jakarta. I almost forgot about my calorie in take regulations ☹️. But at the end of the day I decided to forget about it anyway. HELL YEAH!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! 🌟...

The bread has that “old” style flavor & texture which goes well with the butter cream, crush nougat, and chocolate sprinkle. Although I would recommend to consume it within 1-2 days. Another favorite of mine is their Susu Regal, I mean who wouldn’t love it, it’s basically a combination of fresh milk and crushed regal biscuits which both brings back childhood memory. I prefer it less sweet, but you can also ask regular sweet. The service is always quick there and the staff is nice. They have both indoor and outdoor seating area which are perfect for hanging out. They also offer some hot food as well if you’re looking for something heavier, like Lontong Cap Gomeh &...
Read moreKedai Roti Kobi is a coffee and bread stall that has several branches in Jakarta. I have tried several times their Nougat Meises bread because my colleague often brought this to us. And yeah, I like their old fashioned style and dense bread.
Since they open from 7AM, people could come here for having breakfast. They also provide some main dishes, such as Lontong Cap Go Meh, Nasi Rames, and Chicken Porridge.
For this first visit, I only tried their Kopi Hitam / Black Coffee (IDR 15,000). We could choose the serving either in cold or hot. I chose the cold one. The black coffee without sugar with light taste of caffeine. It tastes not too bitter.
From other Local Guides' review, they said that Lontong Cap Go Meh here has a good taste. Next time I will...
