I ordered their manual brew single origin, and it was beautifully balanced, full of flavor, and served at just the right temperature. It’s rare to find a place that respects the bean this much while also making it approachable for casual drinkers. They also offer great non-coffee options and signature drinks that are creative and well-crafted — perfect for when you want something different.
The interior design and ambiance deserve a mention too. It has that warm industrial feel that’s perfect for both work and relaxation. There are plenty of plug points, reliable Wi-Fi, and enough space between tables so you don’t feel cramped. Whether you’re coming for a solo work session or catching up with friends, the space adapts well.
What really elevates the whole experience is the staff. Everyone is super friendly, well-trained, and genuinely passionate about coffee. They take time to explain the beans or recommend drinks based on your taste. It never feels rushed or transactional — just genuine hospitality.
Another plus: their snack and pastry selections are surprisingly good! The croissants were buttery and flaky, and their Indonesian-fusion snacks are a nice local twist that complements the drinks well.
In a city full of generic coffee chains and Instagrammable but average cafés, KOPIKINA stands out because of its soul. It’s clear they care — about their coffee, their customers, and the overall vibe. Saikoro Wagyu Beef Bowl for 52 K IDR.
I guess this is pretty standard fare for most cafes of this range nowadays, but i do have to say that - although it is still a far cry of what one would expect of a wagyu label - it is admittedly still quite worth its asking price. Especially considering the fact the nice folks here were kind enough to give me some chopped bird's eye chillies when requested and oh boy did they pack a punch.
Their regular assortment of beef bowls cost around 38 K each and i tried a bit of my friend's sambal matah and i can say that the sambal matah sucked. Perhaps try their sambal petai one instead 👌
However, i did not try the regular beef - so I can't say if the price difference is really that worth it, but suffice to say that this wagyu one was cooked still a bit medium rare (so at least they have SOME semblance of appreciation for the ingredients) and was quite tender compared to most other beef bowls of the same price range that i have had.
I also tried a bit of their very overpriced iced black tea that costs 27 K each and it is quite nice indeed, but definitely not worth the price. Thus why i ordered their "homemade Baileys" called MacPherson for 88 K and it was slightly enjoyable due to the kick it carried, but i sadly have to say that this, too, is not worth it. Guess I'll have to try some of their other drinks if i ever swing by again (which is unlikely, i guess)...

Read moreMy first time here. Sejujurnya saya sangat menikmati suasana dan pelayanan di coffee shop ini. Malam senin kemarin baru pertama kali ke coffee shop yang menyediakan "Magic" di menu book.
Kami hanya order 2 items, hot cappuccino dan magic. Waiters (perempuan berambut panjang) cukup ramah dan memiliki product knowledge yang baik. Harga terbilang masih affordable dan reasonable dengan kualitas 4 beans yang dimiliki. Suasana dan Desain Interior sangat ciamik, feels like home. Mungkin kalau siang akan nyaman untuk Work From Cafe (WFC) dan malam hari untuk mengobrol dalam durasi yang lama. Meskipun meja, kursi, serta parkiran disana penuh dan ramai pengunjung, tapi tidak membuat pengunjung terganggu. Lokasi dan Aksesibilitas mudah ditemui karena tepat dipinggir jalan besar dan mudah dijangkau baik dengan kendaraan pribadi maupun kendaraan umum (Ojek Online). Parkir kendaraan aman, bahkan helm pun dibantu simpankan oleh jasa valet yang tersedia di depan.
Namun, izinkan saya memberikan ulasan disini karena ada potensi perbaikan untuk kedepannya. Saya ingin memberikan saran terkait area smoking. Saya perhatikan lantai di area smoking tersebut berbeda dengan lantai yang ada di area non smoking. Di area smoking, lantainya dilapisi oleh karpet, sedangkan di area non smoking tidak beralaskan apapun (hanya lantai).
Yang padahal area smoking dilapisi karpet tersebut akan menjadi berisiko jika terkena abu rokok yang tidak sengaja terjatuh oleh customer/pengunjung. Selama saya datang berkunjung kesana kemarin, saya perhatikan di area smoking ada beberapa orang yang dengan tidak sengaja merokok dengan posisi rokok berada dibawah (gambar terlampir). Hal ini dapat meningkatkan potensi bahaya kebakaran. Apalagi, saya tidak melihat adanya Alat Pemadam Api Ringan (APAR) yang tersedia disana.
Mungkin teman-teman kopi kina atau owner bisa mempertimbangkan untuk: Menukar karpet di area smoking tersebut agar ditempatkan di area non smoking saja. Karena kebetulan meja dan kursi disana bermaterial kayu, sehingga apabila di geser baik oleh customer/pengujung atau waiters menghasilkan suara yang bising dan tidak ramah di telinga siapapun yang mendengarnya. Atau bisa juga memberikan tatakan untuk kaki meja dan kursi yang terbuat dari karet, bisa lihat contohnya di e-commerce toko orange Menyediakan Alat Pemadam Api Ringan (APAR) di beberapa titik yang memiliki potensi kebakaran, misal: area smoking, kitchen, entrance, dan lain-lain. Minimal ukuran 6 kilogram dengan jenis Alat Pemadam Api Ringan (APAR) yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan. Powder untuk general user, sedangkan CO2 untuk instalasi listrik Menyediakan asbak disetiap meja lebih banyak lagi atau yang sifatnya permanent (menggunakan perekat). Karena saya lihat ada 2 asbak yang berada di ujung meja, sehingga ada customer/pengujung yang terpaksa membuang abunya ke karpet/lantai Mengganti lantai di area smoking dengan material yang lebih tahan terhadap panas atau api
