It is SUMMER Time and the season where flowers are bloom so pretty. Onni House are the best choices to pick, where you can dine in and enjoy the ambience which is very romantic, homey, pretty and full of beautiful fresh flowers. Thanks to Onni House for invitation to the Private Dinning Session with a theme of "Onni Tropical Luncheon" This time, Onni House served so much better taste of food, rich in flavor and nice plating, which is brought from a new beloved chef Robert Hansen, following with a pampering session from Beaute Premiere & Feliz.

There are some menu that Onni House served which is from Appetizer, Main Course and Desserts, include their Cute Bluish Welcome Drink.

Furikake Fries

Basically it's a potato chips which is deep fried until golden brown and super crunchy. I love this appetizer so much, Oh My God. The "Umami" Flavor come from fish sauce and Furikake, which is much healthier in a way, than MSG (of course), and doesn't make me thirsty afterwards. They give generous amount of it, in one plate, and no wonder everyone loves it too. Apart from the potato in matches shapes, they got also Nori (seaweed) and White Sesame Seed. Maybe in Indonesian more likely to be "Kentang Ebi", but this one are made with Furikake instead of Ebi. Thumbs up to the Chef, Good Job.

Chicken Karage with Sambal Bawang

Nice Karage to triggers my appetite before the main course. Not like your regular fried chicken, it's super juicy and the skin are crunchy, the sambal bawang is the highlight. So Spicy and savory, nicely matched with the Karage. I just feel like, having this every day for snacking. The Sambal are the champion, especially if you guys love spicy food, this one is perfect!

Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken

I love salad, and i'm grateful that Onni served this menu. The Romaine Lettuce are so fresh and crisp, i can even hear the sound when i chew the lettuce itself. This salad are served with hard boiled egg, cherry tomatoes, grilled chicken and grated parmesan cheese. The cheese are so yummy, when it all come together in one bite, such as in heaven. There is a savory, sweet and crunchy, Umami. Bring all my conscious senses come together, to feel, see, and listen. This is the perfect choices for you guys who love healthy food. The Chicken also very tender and well marinated, that's why, no need ketchup or chili sauce anymore, it's already taste good by itself.

Gulai Salmon

i'm so suprised with this menu, which is so taste so rich and bring Indonesian culture in one dish. I think it suitable for the Lebaran season, which is more to coconut milk (santan), but this one is exceptional, because it's Salmon instead of Chicken. The gravy sauce, are so rich, creamy, strong and tasty. The cinnamon are a little bit too strong in my humble opinion, but in a good way. i think it's better to served with plain rice because the soup are to good to be true. It come with lime, so by the time i squeeze it to the Gulai Salmon, it give sour taste and more fresh. It come with long beans and cherry tomatoes. The size of the salmon are big as well, so you guys should be satisfied.

Opor Baked Rice

What a twist of OPOR dishes. It's a fusion and for you guys who love rice, this is the right choices. The rice are so fluffy inside, and on top are baked nicely with some halved cherry tomatoes. The first time i scoop out, i can feel it was so creamy, and its true. The fish are so tender, and the taste are pretty balance.

Matcha Brulee

I like dessert always, and this Matcha Brulee wrapped up the whole dining experiences. The matcha are so creamy, and the caramel on top, taste like candy, so it was crunchy and perfect taste for you guys who love sweets. The combination of creamy matcha, with coconut and banana, are so pretty, especially the mint and whipped cream. You should order this one when you visit Onni House.

Dragon of Summer

This drink are So fresh, sweet and the lychee are so fresh! Nice drinks after having a big meal and bloated tummy. I'm so happy and grateful.

This place is amazing! I am from US but my friend just graduated school yesterday in Jakarta and I wanted to get her flowers with delivery service. This was one of the few places that came up that looked legit. The website was really clean to navigate and simple. Only problem is when I click on USD, it doesn’t convert IDR to USD, but no big deal because you can open another tab and convert on your own. The selection is gorgeous for the flower bouquets & boxes; I had a really hard time choosing. Where I’m from, these arrangements are anywhere from $50-$200 USD, and imagine my surprise when I found out these are $6-$50 USD!!! So in love with the price range for these beautiful arrangements so I got my friend a TOMO bouquet & YURI arrangement (I was really close to getting the HIMARI box but got confused and thought it wasn’t available because it wasn’t a clickable option at the checkout—more on that later). The overall total for TOMO & YURI was $35.99 USD with no taxing or delivery fee!!! My card got declined (because overseas fraud confirmation) and there’s this step you have to do after “purchasing” to confirm purchase and I kept in touch with the owner (on WhatsApp) the entire time and got confused at the part that says “Sent to,” and you choose a bank, but I’m from overseas and don’t have Indonesian bank. Told the owner and 10 mins later, they sent me a Paypal invoice instead which allowed me to use my VISA. Confirmed purchase with owner; they were so sweet throughout the whole thing & very patient. Throughout the day, they kept me updated through WhatsApp, sent me pictures of the arrangements they made for my friend and they looked exactly like the picture. I couldn’t believe this place was real with gorgeous bouquets for the cheapest prices ever and they also sent delivery confirmation and let me know my friend was the one who received it, not some random person. On another note, when checking out with more than 1 item and click “Same day delivery,” it might make the other options unclickable, which made me confused and initially not buy the HIMARI box because it gave me the impression it wasn’t available the same day or at all, so I switched to YURI. But since the transaction/order already went through, I didn’t change back to HIMARI after I understood what was up, but it’s fine anyways because YURI is also very beautiful. I recommend this place to anyone trying to purchase flowers in Jakarta area from overseas because the owner is so helpful. I believe the delivery fee is only free after you spend 500.000 IDR (?) = $34-ish USD. Not expensive at all with beautiful flowers that are fresh cut and top notch, not wilted or anything. reaaaaaaaalllyyy love this place! they have a unique concept. u entered the room and you will find a flower store, then go further you will find bakery corner and last you will face a cute restaurant with flower decoration and the ornament is classic and of course super instagramable! their store serve many kind of wooden product, and they also sell natural oil, soap, and toiletries products, they also have balm for flue! so nice since it's all natural product. so if you looking at a natural product, this store can be one of your list to check. as for the food, me, my bf and my friends ordered a kind of popular menu. we had tempeh mendoan stick which is surprisingly delicious and so good, we had opor baked rice - taste good but a bit salty for me (it comes from the cheese), smoked tuna mie goreng - uhm the noodle texture was good but in my opinion it is too sweet and a bit of over seasoning. we also had furikake fries which is just so-so as a starter. and my recommendation for the drink is hot rose tea, omg this one is so good! since it comes from a rose, of course you can taste the "rossy flavor" - in a good way. and after i drink it, i feel like a queen! lol. it sounds funny but well at least i feel good about it. and you can ask the waiter to refill the hot water so it is worth to try i think. overall am satisfied about this place and their staff (so nice and friendly. it's important because no matter how good the restaurant and the food but if your staff and waiter/waitress attitude is bad, hmf...it's a big no). so keep up the good one and...
