The place is spacious and clean. The staff were nice. The food was also good, however the one in Slipi is much more tasty, I reckon. The Sambal Ijo is more greener in Slipi than the one here. In Slipi when we went there for lunch on Saturday and ask for Telur Barendo, they will ask us to wait for 15mins as they need to make one. While here, they said they dont make that dish on Saturday and Sunday. Their Tunjang is quite nice, the Dendeng batokok is not as good as the one in Tebet. The Rendang is good though. Good food quality and price of authentic Padang food by Urang Awak. Place very clean. This is standard of Simpang Raya Padang Restaurant. I am sad to know some branches already close like in BSD and surrounding area. The only minus is no separate room for non smokers. This should be 4 stars rating with non smoker room.
