Lynt — Hotel in Jakarta

First time check in is smooth and fast but staff at front office/ receptionist was not too helpful with lugage. From first sight, i worried little bit considering about this hotel review and what it look like. Kind a old and less maintenace, but remembering its name were one of the best hotel under reliable management. My expectation was not so good to be true, after parking our car there's no help to carry out for suitcase and bag, then only 1 elevators work beacause another one is under maintenace. The atmosphere at receptionist were so cold and too cheerless, not to crowded and quiet. Large parking slot, up to 7 cars or more, many were for bike, security post, spacious room (Executive type), clean, cool, nice city view and ordered, queen size bed, television, refrigerator, phone, many power outlet, free wifi, super cool air conditioner (McQuay) wich is a rare and durabel brand, desk light, hot water, amenities (brush teeth, toothpaste, shampoo, soap), toilet tissue, wardrobe, chair and desk. What less but worth to had but were missing is No slippers, No water heater, No soap placemat, No hand towel, No coffee, tea or sugar, No glass, No hair dryer, small thin and cheaper tissue, two bottle of water (small and unknown brand) ,only one bath towel and had to ask for another one. So deffinietly not recommended for family while traveling with baby or children because can't prepared hot milk for them. The most annoying is, when i use for hot water it smell like sewer but gone time after, i dunno why but might need to check at water reservoir for sure also no batteries for AC remote so need to swap with TV. This place located in strategic area at downtown, surrounded by shopping shop, office, restaurant, local stall, easy access to public transportation, ect. Room they overing on travel apps with photo or advertising were not had same facility because some of it is not there like what i explained before. Last time i found that, this hotel is not under same management as before, now it's running by Djuragan Kamar, wich is one of the provider for hotel services. My first night was so tired I just went straight to sleep. Morning woke up to 15-20 cockroaches in the bathroom. Went downstairs to change rooms and was told someone is fixing it now. I go upstairs to see what they are talking about and a kid is spraying bug spray and expecting me to stay in the room. I can’t even breath, who wants to smell bug spray all day? At this point I stop being nice and say no we are changing my room.

We visit 3 other rooms which all have bugs as we walk in. Finally the 4th room doesn’t have bugs. I accept the room. However, it does have strange discomforting stains on the walls.

They keep my passport at check in which to me is wrong. The booking description mentions a rooftop terrace but that is unkept and no place to sit.

I would not return to this hotel. Major improvements are needed. One elevator is out of service keeping you waiting at the elevator long times. One lift servicing 9 floors and 60 rooms.

Good things: the air condition is cold and the pillows comfortable. Somewhat close to Monas but walk is through a lot of traffic. Not much else very close by. A small market and...

Stayed here for 2 nights before heading on to Singapore.||Check-in was quick and reception staff was polite and courteous. was allocated a room on the 2nd floor. On entering the room I found dirt on the floor, and after further checking, there was hairs on the bed and stained sheets. I contacted reception and they immediately moved me to a room on the 5th floor. This room was much cleaner. The air con was good and the tv had quite a few channels to pick from.||The breakfast was very limited although there was an omelette bar and would be cooked fresh in front of you. The outside/smoking area was ok, looked nothing like the pictures.||The main reason for the low score is due to the lack of cleanliness of the hotel. The location was ok but not great. I probably would not stay again...
