Rumpi Katumiri — Restaurant in Jakarta

Rumpi Katumiri is a modern coffee shop that mostly serves Indonesian food and snack. Some of the food is Manadonese style food, such as Bakwan Jagung, Nasi Goreng Katumiri, Klappertaart. Probably the owner is a Manadonese? 😀

The place consists of two floors where each floor has different ambiance. I think the second floor is more quiet and comfortable. On the second floor, there are indoor and outdoor area, also meeting room that you could book with minimum purchase and duration. We were dine in on the second floor. My friend who is an architect really likes the architecture and interior here. Since we were on the second floor where there's no waiter standby, sometimes we had to keep calling then waiter by using bell to ordering or having request.

Here are what I tried :

Nasi Goreng Katumiri (IDR 33,000) A simple fried rice served with chicken, shrimp, fried egg, corn, kerupuk. The spices of this fried rice wasn't that thick.

Bakwan Jagung (IDR 18,000) Since a lot of Foodies said that this one is recommended, so as a fan of bakwan, I tried this. Consisting of three big bakwan fried with corn, it's so crispy, not oily, and taste good! They don't have any sauce like peanut sauce as a companion for bakwan jagung. Pro's: Open early like 7AM Not busy too much, feel comfortable for working with almost no disruption WiFi spot available Ambience acceptable, not very comfort but very enough for long hours working No adding taxes on top of pricelist. Con's Not many food options but still enough for me. Quite many favorite food here as much as I spend nearly 6-hours minimum here everytime I visit. Eating from breakfast to early dinner.
