Sate Khas Senayan, Artha Gading — Restaurant in Jakarta

Hungry after hitting the gym hard and decided to have Sate Khas Senayan MAG for dinner.

Ordered sate kambing, tahu kipas and Es campur. Sate was great, meat chewy but not overly cooked. Tahu kipas was good too but not the best, was slightly cold when it got to our table and not much filling like I remembered (was it always without prawns?). Es campur was great, thankfully we asked for syrup and condensed milk separate as it was already sweet enough.

Unfortunately our dining experience did not get the best service from its staff. Most of them were half asleep and were not very attentive. I had to yell several times before they would look up and even then walked so casually without any sense of urgency. The only person sort of alive was the cashier when I paid 😅 hope this branch will pay attention more to improving...

Food served here were hot, fresh from the oven. In contrary to the ones consumed at a prestigious mall like Plaza Indonesia where the food served there were cold and not appetizing at all. We ordered Ketupat new menu during Ramadhan period and it was sooooo good, full of flavor. Chicken satay - top notch with the smooth and abundance peanut sauce, Nasi Liwet tasted awesome! Keep up the quality and service! Servers were fast in responding, knowledgeable and good hospitality too! Will visit again in the near future for their other good food! Desserts are still too sweet for us...

Beberapa kali langganan makan di Sate Khas Senayan untuk sekedar Lunch atau Dinner. Sering sekali makan di Sate Khas Senayan dekat kantor, dan 2 kali terakhir makan di Mall Artha Gading. Biasanya, kalau pesan Nasi Uduk yang datang hanya nasi saja karna waiters/waitress konfirmasi untuk sekedar menanyakan nasi saja atau paket. Dan kali ini, yang dateng nasi uduk dengan paket sate buntelnya. Karna saya saat itu sudah malas berdebat dan memang mungkin saya yang salah pesan jadi saya terima dan makan saja. Disaat mau bayar, di bill terlihat nama "2 nasi uduk sate buntel" yang which is pesanan saya hanya nasi uduk saja. Not a big deal buat saya, tapi mungkin masukan saja untuk Sate Khas Senayan, milikilah karyawan yang punya inisiatif lebih walaupun sekedar untuk bertanya kepada tamu. Jangan jadi cuma tukang catat saja. Sate Khas Senayan tempat makan yang berkualitas, sayang saja kalo karyawannya tidak berkualitas. Fyi, pada saat saya mau ketemu dengan waiter yang tukang catat tadi untuk memberi masukan, kata temannya yang bersangkutan sudah pulang karna masuk pagi (???). Mungkin takut namanya dikenal kali ya. But thanks to Mas Agil yang memperkenalkan diri sebagai supervisor Sate Khas Senayan Mall Artha Gading, semoga...
