Saung Kita Mangga Besar — Restaurant in Jakarta

Not sure how this place has such a high rating. The service was garbage and the staff slower than snails. At one point they screwed up our order, gave us a free drink, then still tried to charge up for the drink.

The atmosphere and interior is nice but the music they play is deafening. I'm not really impressed with the food. A lot of their menu items are dramatically different than what you see in the menu book.

Lastly the ugly old waitress was incredibly rude to us. You guys need to train your staff. For the prices here I could've gotten a nice steak or something....

This restaurant is wonderful,it had a lot of variety menu at reasonable price and portion also had some packages too... Service although it's always busy but served nice and polite... Atmosphere is like indoor saung Sundanese concept of restaurant with Air Conditioning... The rice is served in bulletwood tree... Even the package too included rice,ice tea,sour tamarind soup and this time the menu I took is water spinach in hot plate and chili also the clam cooked with petai,chili and tomatoes... Feels great...

If you like Indonesian food, Saung Kito is a great choice. Besides a wide variety of dishes, they offer reasonably priced for set menu, and the taste is also quite delicious and satisfying.
