Sopo Ngiro Japanese food Antasari — Restaurant in Jakarta

Surprisingly, the food here is really good! Even better than the one in Margonda, and the price is the same.

It’s a street food tent located right under the Antasari pedestrian bridge near the Andara toll entrance. Parking can be a bit tricky if it’s crowded, but there’s someone to help you park. The place is simple, as expected from a street food tent, so don’t expect a Michelin-starred restaurant vibe, haha.

I ordered the katsu, wafuyaki chicken, and fried rice, and everything was delicious. Especially the wafuyaki, with its crispy skin and juicy meat. They’re also generous with the vegetables.

The food was tasty and served quickly, even though it was a bit crowded. Plus, the staff assisting with payments was very friendly. I’ll definitely come back if I’m craving good and affordable Japanese...

Who would guess to find delicious, simple & cheap Japanese menus served a street food open vendor in South Jakarta? Sopo Ngiro served fussion menu of beef/chicken teriyaki, chicken katsu, beef/chicken yakiniku, ebi tempura, fried rice, shrimps teriyaki & simple salad which reminded of such salad at Hokben. Some menus were even served in hotplate along with white rice, while others on plastic plates. The price were reasonably under Rp 50 K. But, no kidding, the taste of such simple menus are amazing. Not too sweet or salty, while it is still savory to our taste. No wonder their many 'warung tenda' on parking lots are always packed with hungry customers. Dress casually & pay by cash to enjoy the streetfood ambiance. Quick service, cheap price & delicious food...

Waktu itu anak saya beli sopongiro yg di antasari. Beli gara2 nonton video dari wa. Cucu2 saya taunya dari ig sama tiktok. cucu saya nagih janji ke anak saya gara-gara bilangnya lebih enak daripada hokben. jadinya anak saya beli chicken katsu, beef teriyaki, dan yakimeshi. • chicken katsu Isinya ada chicken katsu, salad, saus mayo, dan saus kental. Katsu yg diberikan sangat banyak. Ukuran lbh besar dan panjang dan sedikit lbh tebal daripada katsunya bolo2. katsunya juga renyah. Padahal Anak saya bawa dari antasari ke klender. Secara rasa, seperti katsu pada umumnya, tapi lebih puas karena lebih murah, lebih tebal, dan lebih renyah. Saus yg diberikan juga banyak, terutama saus katsunya. Saus warna hitam dan kental. Secara rasa, mirip kecap asin dikentalin.

• beef teriyaki Isinya ada daging sapi, salad, saus mayo, dan saus kental. Daging sapi punya tampilan seperti daging steak murah meriah. Dagingnya kering dan gepeng. Beda dengan daging teriyaki yg ada di hokben atau bolo2. Tapi secara jumlah, jumlahnya lbh banyak. Saus yg diberikan juga banyak, terutama saus teriyakinya. Yg saya heran kenapa rasa sausnya sama seperti saus katsu. Agak kecewa saya makan teriyaki rasa kecap asin. rasanya jadi kurang menarik.

• yakimeshi Nasi goreng pakai potongan wortel, potongan buncis, telur orak arik, dan suwiran daging. Secara rasa, rasanya mirip nasi goreng solaria. Saya bingung nasi goreng jepang yang asli kaya gimana. yang saya coba itu rasanya mirip solaria. Potongan buncis dan wortel seperti potongan saya buat telor orak arik. Tekstur si Suwiran daging kurang jelas. Suwiran nyamar seperti nasi. Saya kurang tau itu daging ayam atau sapi. Tekstur dari daging dan sayur unik pas dimakan dgn...
