Toby's Estate Lippo Mall Puri — Restaurant in Jakarta

We decided to go Toby's Estate at Lippo Mall and were not disappointed. It was busy but we still managed to find a seat and the service was quite quick. Decided to try the Broadway Style Eggs Benedict and it was quite delicious and filling , the brioche was soft and flavourful. The cappuccino was just right as asked for it to be extra hot and they did a good job of making nice and hot and the bitterness of the coffee was just right as you could taste it and made it more enjoyable. We ended up going to Toby's Estate on two different days and they were still very good on the other day that we went. The second time had the Club Sandwich with fries and this turned out to nice and filling and the fries were nice and crunchy and enjoyable. Whenever I go to some place new like to try the Eggs Benedict and see how they compare back home or if they are better and it turned out the Eggs Benedict were just as nice as compared to back home. If you have a chance go try Toby's Estate at Lippo Mall and decided for yourself whether it is worthwhile or not. The other good thing was that there was outdoor seating also if you wanted to...

Worst service ever. Rude waiters. Ordered small bites and drinks only to found out 20 minutes later they haven’t input in the system, have to repeat myself all over again and wait around 20 minutes for the food to arrive. Asked for chilly sauce several times and the waiter deliver it impolitely literally just put it on the table after the third time I asked without saying excuse me?! Asked for the bill and also have to wait for another 30 minutes because there’s some problem with the system. After 30 minutes wait, they gave me the bill still written manually not computer generated. If you can write it manually in the first place why do you have to make me wait for 30 minutes just for the bill… ?! Not a single sorry from the waiters, cashier and everyone involved in there. Totally disappointed, definitely not worth...

I ordered avocado toast, and it was very unpleasant. The texture was too mushy and watery, the seasoning was bland, and no salt and pepper were provided upon serving. The salad texture wasn’t crispy. It only looked pretty, and the dressing was somewhat decent.

The ambiance was okay. Although I arrived at 9:30 AM and sat inside, it was rather hot since the air conditioning hadn’t been turned on. When I asked the staff, they said the central AC followed the mall’s operational hours and wouldn’t be turned on until 10 AM. However, as I write this review at 11:00 AM, the AC inside the café is still not on. The Wi-Fi also couldn’t be used due to connection issues.

Would I visit this place again? Absolutely not. Would I recommend it to my friends? Definitely...
