The Tuku outlet in Cipete has been my go-to ever since they first opened in 2015. Before Tuku, I was never a fan of kopi susu, but their version completely changed my perspective & became my instant favorite.

Other than coffee, Tuku offers a selection of non-coffee beverages and affordable snacks priced between IDR 7K-12K such as: Bolu Wortel (Carrot Cake) Bolu Cokelat (Chocolate Cake) Tahu Schotel (Tofu Gratin) Donat Cokelat (Chocolate Donut) Donat Kampoeng (Traditional Kampoeng Donut)

Fast forward to 2025, Tuku has expanded to more than 50 outlets across Indonesia and has even acquired naming rights for the Cipete Raya MRT Station, now known as Cipete Raya Tuku.

Note: Tuku also offers a breakfast menu called Segowo, which usually sells out before 11 AM. However, it’s not available at all outlets, so it’s best to check ahead before visiting. Segowo is an abbreviation of "Sego Iso Digowo" in Javanese, which translates to "rice that can be brought" or "takeaway rice" in English. Priced around approx IDR 30K with several options: Segowo Kuning (Turmeric rice with omelet, shredded chicken floss, and stir-fried tempeh) Segowo Hijau (Kaffir lime leaf rice with balado egg, stir-fried tempeh, and crispy potatoes) Segowo Gulai (Spiced rice with egg, gulai chicken, and balado potatoes) Segowo Kecombrang (Kecombrang fried rice with stuffed omelet)

Almost all Tuku outlets are small and eating in is not an usual option, which makes sense given its name, "Toko Untuk Kamu" (A Shop for You). If you haven’t tried Tuku yet, this is your...

Offers more than just great coffee; it creates a meaningful experience that goes beyond the cup. ā˜•ļøšŸ’š

[+] Known for its delicious blend of creamy milk, sweet aromatic palm sugar, and a strong espresso shot, it’s a well-loved choice that keeps customers coming back. [+] The iced long black and Kopi Beragam, made with their houseblend Arabica beans, are perfect for those who appreciate a coffee with strong acidity and a fresh, tangy flavor. [+] What truly sets Tuku Cipete apart is its commitment to inclusivity. The shop employs hearing-impaired staff, offering a unique experience where customers can engage with them through sign language, promoting greater empathy and awareness within the community. Small but i agree the quality is over quantity on this one, their variety of coffee amaze me, and the consistency of the coffee makes me love this place more and more, also their baristas is very friendly, because i met mba citra one of their barista, also if you come to this cafe at night, you'll had a chance to see some cute hipsterish girl who likes coffee hahaha

Double Shot of Espresso

aroma: sweet chocolatey aroma acid: not quite too strong, but rich body: syrupy silky delicious coffee flavor: rich in flavor, chocolatey, fruity like, sweet finish: long finish, sweet aftertaste

90! Outstanding

Also i ordered a manual brew and a iced coffee, but i forgot where's my tasting note.

Verdict: A must place to come if you love coffee as much as you...

The original iced coffee, milk, and Javanese brown sugar - and there is a reason why they are such a hit. Their coffee is one of the best in the city and the price is a third of your usual Starbucks grande cuppa. If you don't like your coffee too sweet, but with a distinct smokey undertone, this is the coffee you should be in nuptials with. The place itself isn't made for you to linger around for a long time, but honestly, the great coffee is definitely worth it for you to at least drop by and try some. You can also order Tuku via Gojek, but you should definitely get your friends together to order a bunch of them since most of the drivers are quite reluctant to buy your order for you if you only buy a glass.
