Workroom Coffee & Roastery — Restaurant in Jakarta

Pros: The place is very comfortable for studying and work When I went there, there were only 2 people. So it’s quiet Their fried rice is very delicious Lots of electrical outlets

Cons: A little bit slow in serving the meal (take more than 15 mins even tho there are only 1-2 customers) Not suitable for casual meetup since it’s too quiet and most of the customers are working They offer breakfast package (beverage + donut) that is available during 8-11am (In their IG). I went there around 10.45 and when I asked about the promo, the cashier is about to say still available and checking the clock in their phone. But suddenly one of their staff interfere and said it’s only available until 10. Sadly they are inconsistent in offering their promo Wifi is very slow. Can’t even connect to internet. Not only me, but several people had to move to other cafe in the middle of work Toilet is dark

Overall, it’s good if you want to work or study all by yourself (without any need to use high-speed wifi) because it offers a very quiet situation and...

Absolutely a delight to work at this location. I worked here for about 3 hours in the morning till noon on a weekend and it gives me enough peace to work on all my emails. Will definitely come back again if I need a cafe to work from.

Wifi: Wifi is free for every 2.5 hrs u purchase something from their menu (they didnt actually kick me off the wifi but I just followed the sticker on the table). Speed is also quite decent.

Atmosphere: Not too big of a crowd im assuming because of the fasting period. There was a mosquito which kept biting me so that was annoying but probably not a reguarly occurence.

Food/drinks: The food/drinks wasnt that great to be honest. The coffee was too acidic and taste quite bad compared to most of the coffee outside u can get. The mie ayam was also fairly average for the price. The only redemption was the ice chocoloate which was fairly decent.

All in all, definitely an amazing working cafe and very convenient to get to. There are also some small parking areas...

I just had a very unhappy experience at workroom coffee. I walked there after watching a movie and arrived a few minutes before 9 PM. I asked the guy at the counter what time they closed and he said 10 PM. I ordered a long black and bottled water.... The guy took my order.... He took my money and I sat down.

A few minutes later, my order arrived, but there was no sugar. When I asked the server for sugar, he replied that they were out of stock! Huh? No sugar?! In s coffee shop?! I asked him why didn't he tell me aboutbtjudvqhen he took my order, he said thstvtheyvere busy getting ready to close and he forgot. Ready to close? Closing time was still one hour away!! They he told me that they close at 9:30 PM. Wsh

I was very unhappy, shoved the coffee back at him and walked out. He tries to return my money, but I told him to eat it. I will never return to this...
