Sempat berjaya di era 80-an, Jalan Jaksa kini seolah kehilangan pesonanya. Senja kala melingkupi jalan yang dulu jadi destinasi favorit turis asing itu. Jalan Jaksa merupakan salah satu jalan legendaris di Jakarta. Terletak di Kecamatan Kebon Sirih, Jakarta Pusat, posisi jalan ini terbilang strategis karena berada di jantung ibu kota. Jalan sepanjang 400 meter ini jaraknya hanya sekitar 1 kilometer dari Monas. Lokasinya di sebelah barat Stasiun Gondangdia, membuat jalan ini juga mudah diakses bagi pelancong. Jalan ini menawarkan penginapan-penginapan murah untuk turis backpacker. Bila Bali punya kawasan Legian atau Yogyakarta terkenal akan Sosrowijayan, Jakarta memiliki Jalan Jaksa yang menjadi pusat berkumpulnya bule-bule muda. Selain penginapan, di Jalan Jaksa juga berdiri kafe-kafe yang menawarkan menu khas Barat. Termasuk, menjual minuman keras seperti beer yang disukai...

What used to be the "back-packer" street off Jakarta, is now just 2 small empty bars with for sale signs), few alfas/indos, some cheap hotel, few koss, and some office places..thats it..NO more joker cafe etc..All gone...

Dead empty place, to all foreigners pls go to Sabang street instead. Don't believe those articels that still writes about the night-life or night market...
