Ocean Terrace Restaurant at Candi Beach Resort & Spa — Restaurant in Kecamatan Manggis

Feb 2017: Western food restaurant. Prices in range from 100k to 300k, portions a bit on the small side.

If you want convenience and just OK western food, give it a shot. Local cousine is also available at the nearby restaurant East in the resort.

I tried: Starter - Tomato and feta cheese salad (average, not impressed with the feta cheese) Main - Pumpkin salad (good taste, but small) Dessert - Jackfruit panna cotta (Nice taste but bad consistency, felt too firm) Banana-papaya milkshake (good, but quite sweet) Pineapple juice

This set me back maybe 350k.

The view is good though, and the staff is very service oriented. Do keep in mind that beef is likely not as expected in EU/USA. Next time I'd go to the Indonesian restaurant.

The food quality may go up if the restaurant gets busier (seems to be low season).

Superb food. Great sea views. Outstanding service.

Almond crusted, oven roasted snapper with roast potatoes was exceptional. 2 thick steaks of fish fillet. Easily broke apart with my fork. Crispy outside and moist inside. Herbed potatoes a great addition.

The salt and pepper calamari could have used more s 'n' p though. Still enjoyable.

The prices are acceptable for the wonderfully presented food, linen napkins and table cloths, friendly attentive service.

I was staying at another Hotel but dined here twice. On the second evening it was raining rather heavily as I was about to leave. My waiter kindly gave me an umbrella to use for my walk home (returned the next day) without hesitation.

I've no hesitation to recommend...

My husband, parents, and dog and I wanted to have lunch at this place. Firstly, it is difficult to find it. Secondly, we were not allowed to eat there with the dog. Although, we sat down far from everyone. And our dog is small in size. At first they told us we could, but then the manager came up and forbade us to sit. It was very frustrating.
