Resto Bu Atik — Restaurant in Kota Batu

We were here for dinner - our tour agent had made the booking earlier on. He had requested that it will be buffet dinner considering that the group consisted of growing up youths who have big appetite. The food served here is just wonderful. You should come here if you're looking for Javanese dishes. We were served authentic dishes and I'm surprised that the youth took the food heartily considering that they don't usually take these type of food back home. We had plain rice with Lauk Sambal Godok (my favourite because I'm Javanese 😁), Daun Papaya, Tempe Goreng, Flour-coated Fried Chicken and a few more Javanese dishes which I couldn't recall. But another of my favourite is the Rempeyek. The dessert was also wonderful - Es Madura. You need to be here to taste the food and you'll really enjoy it. The resto is located in a very strategic place and has so many tables. The ambience also good since they have many plants in the area.

Taste wise I think it still could be improved since some of the menu that we ordered was quite salty. I recommend to order Javanese food instead of Chinese food if you are planning to go...
