If you’re looking for a cozy, nature-inspired café with great food and reliable Wi-Fi, Artisan Café is a gem.
The space is divided into an air-conditioned indoor area and an outdoor patio with fans, fairy lights, and a lovely garden vibe. It’s filled with plants, wooden tables, cushioned chairs and sofas, and unique pottery and mugs that match the nature aesthetic perfectly. There’s even a pretty little flower board that adds to the charm.
The menu is diverse, offering both Western and Asian-inspired dishes, though it leans more towards Western flavors. I had the burrata and avocado toast, and it was incredible. They also serve a variety of coffee drinks with plant-based milk options for vegans, plus they bring complimentary fruit-infused water (lemon and orange).
It’s not the cheapest café in Bali – my coffee and toast came to about $15 – but the quality, service, and atmosphere make it worth it. The staff are incredibly friendly and smiley, making you feel welcome right away.
This place is also perfect for working. The Wi-Fi is strong, there are plenty of power outlets, and the menu covers you for breakfast, lunch, snacks, and coffee breaks. The bathroom is cute and clean, and you could easily spend the entire day here.
One thing to note: it’s not the quietest spot. There’s a constant flow of customers, light background music in a Jack Johnson vibe, and general movement. If you’re looking for absolute silence, this might not be the place. But if you’re after a beautiful, inspiring environment with great food and coffee, Artisan...
Read moreWas a perfect breakfast place right before our flight out of Bali. Putri, our server, was also SO lovely and patient with us ❤️ We ordered the following.
Tomago Go (with bacon): This was my order. The egg was cooked and seasoned perfectly. With the shokupan and my added bacon it was a little filling for breakfast, but honestly - super value for the portion!
My Mama Said (on ciabatta): "10/10, bread was fluffy, burrata was burrata-ing"
Bageloumi (with bacon): Delicious just as it is as the eggs itself is rich and creamy; again - portion size is generous.
We were hungry, so we also ordered a couple add-ons: AUS rib-eye steak (pictured medium rare; was cooked just the way I like it), chorizo (a little dry), toulouse sausage (juicy, but nothing spectacular), chips, java brie
For drinks, we got Orange One juice, Give Me All the Purple smoothie and an iced latte. Loved the coconut in the smoothie and the juice was perfect for a morning after a fun night :)
LASTLY, atmosphere is great. We sat outside, so it does get a bit hot in the afternoon. Inside was full when we got here around 10, would've been more comfortable maybe. But still wonderful experience...
Read moreSo far i visited two locations: padang-padang and ungasan. i've been there 3 times in total, always for breakfast. My first complain is about coffee cups without handle. It's impossible to drink hot coffee from those cups cause it's simply too hot to handle the cup, means every time i've had to wait till my coffee is not hot. Breakfast menu is a bit of puzzle itself, each position describes its ingredients but hard to say how complete meal would look like. I've tried: VAMOS A LA PLAYA - good taste but portion size will be likely small for any male, at least it was small for me; CHARLOTTE’S BAGEL - bagel is hard like a rock, bacon is almost black so much overcooked, overall - terrible; EURO KOOK - very weird toast with cheese and ham on top also served with marinated onions, pickles and butter!!! on the side, still not sure how i was supposed to eat it. And my last complain is about staff. Management better invest more time to train them, i was the only guest yet i felt like staff was always irresponsive and more interested in communicating to each other. I would not recommend non of their restaurants for...
