Disappointing experience at this normally great restaurant. As regular patrons who have always had a wonderful time, we brought a large group of friends on Friday night for their Pizza promo starting at 6pm. However, when we arrived at 7pm, we were told we could only order the large pizzas, as they didn‘t have enough smaller sizes just an hour into the promotion. None of us wanted the larger, much more expensive pizzas, but they refused to adjust the prices or just make the dough smaller.

After some back-and-forth with the manager, they finally agreed to give us a 10% discount. BUT for only one of us... - this was the only concession for our entire large party. The whole situation felt like a transparent attempt to maximize profits rather than provide good service. This was a stark contrast to our previous positive experiences at this restaurant. Sadly, our entire group of 10 people left feeling disappointed and unlikely to return.

If the restaurant truly underestimated demand, they should have found ways to accommodate customers, not force them into more expensive options.

I feel very sorry having to give this review, but I told the manager that if they don’t negotiate I won’t have another choice.

After all I would still recommend Tarabelle, because they make great food, it’s a very nice place, most of the staff is is very friendly, and I believe this will never happen again :)

Dear Tarabelle manager, I am willing to delete my review if you make up with Friday night in any fair way. I love spending my money for good food, but as I told you fairness is very important to me, as I think it is for...

very poor systems and cold food, we had been given a table outside in the kids area playground for a table of 3 adults and 2 kids, waited 15 minutes to be cleaned after told to sit there, then we could order, food took 35 min for eggs and bacon, waited for someone to bring cutlery but after 5 min i had to go to kicthen to ask for cutlery and an extra plate (if your busy let the customer know, as we dont know whats going on boh and foh) eggs where stone cold, bacon burnt, bread dry with no butter, (sad as the bread was nice but with no butter so sad) we ate it anyway as kids were hungry, when paying the bill, i mentioned the eggs were cold, to the reply yes ill let the kitchen know, as someone in the restaurant game this is a management issue and training, please dont blame the kitchen, for many reason, but of cause the eggs wernt cold when they were cooked, perhaps maybe not texting on your phone whilst working on the floor, standing in little groups chatting, instead set up proper sections and having food runners deliver food this wouldnt happen..so management please train your staff properly, drift on the floor and assist staff foh and boh, have good systems in place as you could be a good long standing business, and stop charging people two times for kids to play in the playground, add the fee to the food bill, we dont care what your books look like, thats your business model, but the customer experience is very poor....paying once is enough...we were offered no discount, no apologies, the staff blew it off and tried to fist pump me when leaving...you...

Fantastic restaurant with friendly, smiling staff. We stayed in the area for almost three weeks and ended up coming back here almost every single day.

🥗🍔 The food is delicious – we tried plenty of different dishes, but our favorites were the chicken burrito bowl, the smash burger, and pesto pasta. Thel salty caramel brownie & choclette cake amazing.🤩 In the evenings, the menu gets even better with great pizza options. The pasta could be cooked a touch more al dente, but everything is served quickly and fresh.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, though since it’s right next to the main road, it can be a bit noisy if you sit outside.

💫 They keep things exciting with regular specials – happy hour (I had great cocktail), 2-for-1 pizza, pasta & wine evenings, steak & wine evenings – and sometimes even live music during dinner.

💻 By day, it’s also a comfortable spot to get some work done for a few hours.

🧒 Families will appreciate the supervised playground for kids (entrance fee: 50k IDR for a single visit or 75k IDR for the whole day).

💶 Our meals usually cost together around €13.50 (approx. 236,000 IDR) for a main dish and a drink. So amaaaaazing value...

From Redemption to Excellence: A Hidden Gem in Uluwatu Tarabelle Uluwatu has undergone a remarkable transformation, earning its place as a true hidden gem in Ungasan. Nestled discreetly behind breeze blocks on Jln Uluwatu, this specialty café has turned its story from a stumble to a triumph, and my experience this morning solidified that. Having stayed away for months after a past disappointment, I decided to give Tarabelle another chance, and I’m so glad I did. The food was nothing short of exceptional. I ordered the Korean rice bowl, and every bite showcased culinary precision—the chicken was perfectly cooked, with a flawless balance of flavors and textures that made the dish truly memorable. If there’s one area for refinement, it would be enhancing the personal connection with guests. A brief visit to the table after serving, with a friendly “How’s the food? Is there anything we could improve?” would elevate the overall dining experience and leave a lasting impression. Tarabelle Uluwatu has not only redeemed itself but exceeded expectations. It’s a café I’ll now wholeheartedly recommend and one I’ll eagerly return to.

Mixed feelings about my visit. I ordered four items (coffee, salmon Bennie, hashbrown and donut), three of which contained inedible materials like pieces of plastic and what seemed to be pieces of construction debris. What I liked: 1. The staff provided water a few times and were generally polite. 2. The donut. What I disliked: 1. The trash in the food and the staff's attempt to claim it was not trash, requiring me to demonstrate how plastic stretches. 2. Finding trash in three different dishes is excessive. When I discovered it in the Eggs Benedict as well, I didn’t even want to speak up anymore. 3. The Eggs Benedict bread were dry. It was unclear whether it was stale, but it definitely wasn't much fresh. Not enough hollandaise to smooth it. I wouldn’t order that meal again. 4. Despite such a significant service failure, no one offered any form of compensation or discount to mitigate the bad experience. Only “sorry” which is actually not help at all. Overall, I would not return to this place and would not recommend it to others. I’m leaving + one star for the service that included providing water.
