I wish I could give 5 stars but unfortunately I feel like a got scammed at the spa and therefore the story below.
Good things: the villas are amazing - beautiful, spacious and luxurious. Big bathroom with amenities. Nice pool, really enjoyed it. The staff is very friendly, smiling, kind, welcoming. You can see they do their very best, even if sometimes english isn’t always the easiest for each employee. I definitely recommend this place if you want to feel like you are in a secluded private villa while you actually aren’t. Also, the location is a bit more central so it divides tour travel all around Uluwatu and Nusa Dua. Everything is a max 30min drive from here which is nice and convenient. At the reception you have an assortment of tasty snacks and a refrigerator with water, sodas and bintang. They have a really good deal on the bintang.
Minus points: the breakfast is not what you would expect in a “fancy” place like this - whether you choose the local options or not, I think it was one of the more disappointing meals we have had on our month long holiday - there is improvement possible here. The pancakes were really yummy though!
I feel like I got scammed at the spa. I booked an aromatherapy massage for 1 hour and a manicure. The massage was wonderful and I came out of it relaxed and a little wobbly on my legs, that is how well the lady did it. However, for the manicure: the manicure itself was great and I love the color of the polish. The girl was really nice too. But when I got to the counter, i had to pay 150.000IDR extra for the gel (the manicure itself was 199.000, so basically almost double!!) - I was not informed beforehand or during the manicure that it was gonna cost any extra, let alone almost double the price. It was also not written anywhere on their price-list.
Truly a shame, I was really happy but this made me feel scammed and used unfortunately. The fact that it was my last night might’ve made it worse too, i dunno… Better communication regarding extra fees next time would avoid this type of feeling and the...
Read moreI'm not sure how this is a "4 Star Hotel" when some of the rooms are like a "2 Star Hotel." We booked this hotel many months ago, and the pictures on the web are misleading. We have been traveling for almost 3 months, and Indonesia is our 7th country with one more to go. This has been our worst hotel/villa to date. You don't want villa #17! You should immediately cancel or change villas. I'm sure my 5 Star for service might be confusing, but Tedy and his staff were amazing. They were very friendly/helpful and provided excellent customer service. We know there are many things out of their control, so the overall one star isn't on them but on the owners. Our villa needed some serious TLC. The pool was not swimmable even though the staff said it was. We have a swimming pool and hot tub at home and I know bad water quality. Our bedroom was missing curtains, safe didn't work, water pressure was horrible, and the bathroom door would make noises throughout the night due to the small open screen windows that you couldn't close. Our second bedroom bathroom smelled so bad, safe wouldn't work, and the main door had issues that needs to be fixed. Unfortunately, it's high season so we weren't able to find anything else for our stay in Uluwatu. We were able to get Villa 1 for one night, and it was pretty impressive. It's just unfortunate that not all the villas were in the same condition. The breakfast was not good. There were several breakfast spots just a few minutes away that...
Read moreSorry to give you 1 star, i haven't stay in the villa so i won't coment about that BUT the customer service really terrible and not professional.. I booked for 6 nights through agoda and paid in full because one of reason i need to cancel my booking and get full refund FYI i booked one month in advance so its not like i cancel it last minute. I understand the policy as they wanted 50% refund that's why i tried to contact the property and explain everything, i tried filling the form and explain my condition but they decline 6/7 times and i want my 50% money nearly $200 i tried 6/7 times to apply through agoda but they decline. I tried to email the property email address myself twice but no replies at all.... I just want to say i disappointed with the customer service communications in this property i won't book with them in the future, IF YOU WANT TO BOOK THE PROPERTY PLEASE THINK WITH YOUR OWN RISK and 1000% sure because if anything happens they will ignore you as long as they get the money they won't help at all. At the end i cancel it my self and lost 50% of my money even though i tried to communicate and...
