Rendang Roll Bali Jimbaran — Restaurant in Kuta Selatan

Two stars for the nasi rendang...

Four items ordered, french fries, nasi rendang, sate and salad with olive dressing.

The french fries were well done but the portion was quite small, would not complain much about this item but definitely not order it again.

The nasi rendang is the only thing I think I would re-order from this place, well cooked even though I feel for rendang the sauce was too little, the yellow rice was tasty and with a nice fragrance.

The sate was absolutely sub par, toxic levels of tenderizer for sticks of meat smaller than you would find in your beside-the-street sate post, on top of that for two bits of their salsa you have to pay additionally, btw the salsa is nothing special at all.

Salad 'with olive dressing' should be renamed to 'with olive gstring' because they give like 3/4 teaspoon of olive oil for a mid size salad, no salt, no pepper no anything... again, not worth it at all for the price.

Summarizing and considering the cost of the food in this establishment, is definitely not worth it unless you just get the nasi rendang, which anyway is available for a fraction of a cost in...

There's a famous local restaurant called Landang Roll right in front of the hotel.

I visited in September 2025.

I went there a while ago to see how it tasted.

Last December, the beef banh mi sandwich cost 62,000 IDR.

I just checked and the Korean menu has changed, so it's 90,000 IDR.

But it was 95,000 IDR for takeout.

I can't believe it.

It looks like a Korean menu.

It used to be a popular place, but now there's no staff, and it seems like a single woman is going back and forth between the kitchen and the dining area.

I checked the delivery app and it's 13,000 IDR. Hahaha

Koreans still go there, but it's the entrance to Four Points by Sheung Wan and they're acting crazy hahaha

Yesterday, I ordered 45 skewers of crazy skewers and rice for 140k, hahaha

1 banh mi for 130,000 IDR. ㅋㅋㅋ Delivery is separate

But the taste is also much worse ㅡㅡ

Even in Kuta and Nusa Dua, they sell a delicious Margherita pizza for 70,000 IDR

and I'm suddenly really pissed ㅡㅡ Just to piss off the hotel people here It used to have a 4.8 rating, but for some reason, There haven't been many reviews lately

It's ridiculous that they made such a big deal about the delivery price

One banh mi costs the price of two local Margherita pizzas ㅋㅋㅋ

They made a menu and then ripped off the delivery just to sell it to the Four Points Hotel people ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

진짜 이런데는 아닌듯 심지어 몇달전에는 맛있기는 했음 비추임

그냥 가격을 올렸어도 반미 포장95에 이정도면 비추이고 배달은 128에 배달비추가 랜당볶음밥도 128이면

참고로 포포인츠쉐라톤 마르게리따 피자1판이 110임 씨푸드피자 120 미고랭 나시고랭90...

Ate at this nice restaurant about 3 times when I was in Bali.

The lady owner was so welcoming the first time I visited. I had the Rendang Roll for takeaway, and I liked it so much I brought my wife here the same evening.😂 The rendang was tender, and had just the right level of spice.

For those not too much into spicy food, I would recommend you try the mild or no spice option.

Serving sizes are just right, not too big either.

Appreciate that there are vegetarian options here, including a jackfruit based rendang roll. They are good as well.
