The restaurant had such a cute and charming vibe! I was surprised by how spacious it was inside , it looks much smaller from the outside. The checkered tablecloths were adorable and really added to the overall atmosphere.
The food had a very homey, rustic feel, like something you’d eat at home. They were super generous with the cucumbers and tomatoes, which made everything feel a bit healthier too. I ordered the peanut chicken rice, and the sauce reminded me of gado-gado — which I love , so I really enjoyed it.
I also tried the fried tahu and tempe. Both were tasty, but I was too full and ended up leaving some of the tempe behind. The tempe pieces are huge, honestly the side dish could be a meal on its own. It came with sambal, but I actually think it would’ve paired even better with peanut sauce or some other dipping option.
Next time, I definitely want to try their gado gado! The peanut sauce was so good.
A few small downsides: the ayam wasn’t as crispy as I’d hoped, the sambal was just spicy without much depth of flavor, and the juice I ordered, while the fruit taste was nice had a faint sesame or peanut scent, maybe from using the same blender or juicer? Also, there were some flies that were a bit annoying during the meal.

Read moreGood thing about this place is its affordable price. But you can get cheaper somewhere on the street if you wanna eat local food like what they offered. I went here because it’s close to home and read many positive reviews. It turned up not as amazing as what I expected.
I ordered pork capcay and my husband ordered toast with scramble egg. My capcay definitely needed to stay in the pan longer. They might do it on purpose so the veggies remained crunchy, but honestly it’s so undercooked (that made me questioned the pork as well). The taste was OK but the crunchy raw texture of the veggies was not my thing. At night I threw up and got sick, not sure what’s wrong but the whole capcay was out. My husband’s order was not bad tho. Yet, that’s gonna be our last time...
Read moreThe food here was absolutely delicious and unbelievably affordable! I tried the mie goreng seafood and an omelet—both were great, though the portions were generous, and I probably would have been fine with just one dish. But hey, I needed to refuel on protein!
My girlfriend went for something sweet—toast with nuts, chocolate, and banana. As simple as it sounds, she really enjoyed it. We also had watermelon juice, which was fresh and tasty.
The owner is super kind, and the food came out quickly. The place looks recently renovated, giving it a nice, clean vibe. If you’re looking for great local food at a great price, this is definitely...
