Berlin Gastro Kitchen and Pool Bar — Restaurant in Kuta

My food had not even came out when i decided to type an honest review. Place was fancy, staffs were nice, food was average but too pricey compared to the 'standard' they praised. And top notes, not kid friendly from what i experienced.

I think this place mispositioning its target market, lol. I came with toddler, whom cried to get his chips which i bought DOWNSTAIRS in the shop, and this one lady doing her job so perfectly, came to our table just to tell us i cant have food from outside. I'm in f&b business and i'm fully respect, but this place is just too much. It's just two years old boy want to have a lil snacks. It's their SOP, okay lets talk about procedure then. It's not that i sat on their table just to buy cheapest drink and ate foods i brought from outside. I ordered foods and drinks for 2 people and appetizer. Even my one drink had not came out till we finished our meals, and one set cuttlery for two meals (?), so this what their so called standard procedure, gotta be kidding me.

During my bali trip this time, i am tolerate enough for places whose had a minor service error, since all parties in this industry still crawling up from what pandemic has done. But this place is quite cocky to be tolerate of.

And last one, dear Berlin management, you are in the top of a shopping center, i'm pretty sure most of your customers are people whom finished shopping and for the sake of time efficency, they ate at your place. I dont think your restaurant is attractive enough to interest people to come , without shopping at the krisna. So goodluck with your standard.

Knowing this place from one of applications, as never heard before. Located on 3rd floor of Krisna Oleh Oleh By Pass, this is one of cozy place with many instagramable spots. We arrived at 2.30, the seating was devided with minimum consumption. When we ordered, the staff said that all kind of teas was sold out. WOW! I was surprisingly surprised! Not event 3PM, one of good resto with pool sold out their tea! So funny. In my opinion, ice tea is one of most favourite beverage when you are in nice pool in a hot sunny day! The depth of the pool is 1.6m and there's no kids pool and make my children dissapointed, despite they love the ambience. Another surprise for me, i saw that some staff was smoking in front of their office. It is the smoking area, however all guests can see clearly! The management need to remove smoking area for their staff and hidden from the guest. My son asked me, why all the staff smoking here? My son never saw the staff smoking in front of us when we were in the restaurant.
