Pipo Bali - Bakmie & Oleh Oleh — Restaurant in Kuta

This is not my first visit to this restaurant, but I’ve found the food quality to be quite inconsistent. On some occasions, the meals are decent, but other times, they fall short in both flavor and preparation.

During my recent visit, I ordered the Nasi Samcam Goreng Cabe Ijo. Unfortunately, the dish was disappointing — the flavors were bland, the pork was undercooked, and the only component prepared as requested was the egg.

I had actually avoided this place for a while after a previous visit where I ordered Nasi Campur. At that time, the char siu didn’t taste fresh, which left a poor impression.

I decided to give it another try today, hoping for improvement, but the experience was much the same. The sambal ijo, in particular, lacked depth and failed to enhance the dish.

Consistency in quality is important, and I hope the restaurant takes this feedback into consideration for future...

Ordered the casiu noodle and just far below my expectations. I am from Jakarta - noodle heaven! So a bad noodle day in Jakarta (which I never had) is still gonna be much better than this. First thing you notice about pork noodle, when the noodle is served in front of you and when you start stirring you can smell that delicious porky oil aroma straight away that goes into your brain, this time none. All I can taste is sweet with no other flavour, nothing worse than a sweet noodle in my book. The fish meatball was so so, it has a mothball after taste. Easily the worst pork noodle I have ever had. However the service and restaurant are good but I’d rather eat in a warung with delicious...

The crispy pork rice was really good, the portion was good for the price and the sambal matah is really delicious 😋.

Unfortunately the noodles flavour is a bit disappointing for me, but the pork toppings are plenty and really justify the price. It's just i don't know if the noodles were supposed to taste salty or sweet, or season to taste as they only give sambal and acar. Prob gonna try the flat noodles next time.

And the ac was a bit warm and the place feels big but very empty for some reason.
