Great ambience, interior, and amazing friendly attentive service.
Unfortunately the food just didn’t cut it with the other Indian restaurants we’ve had before.
My Indian partner and I eat at Indian restaurants quite a bit. Here’s our order and how much we liked each dish: Puri: decent standard puri Garlic naan: they offer options to make it soft or crispy, we got one of each, it was delicious Bhatura: we’ve had great bhatura elsewhere where the bread dough was spiced, and comes out puffed up and crispy so it’s not as oily. Here it’s doughy and more flattened and so it held a lot of oil and it didn’t have flavour. Indie Burrata - don’t get it unless you like a cheese that’s a cross between Burrata and paneer. We like Burrata and paneer separately, but this Indie Burrata took away the characteristic soft runny Burrata interior and replaced it with the dense crumbly paneer texture. The tale of India cocktail - had more jackfruit than mango flavour, underwhelming Chole masala - we came later than the time window when chole bhatura was available, so we chose this dish. Initially we loved the flavour and the spice kick, but as we were eating it, the creaminess of the dish muted the spicy depth of flavour. It’s a heavy dish that unfortunately didn’t hit the spot for us as we were also keen on more of the chole flavour of chole bhatura Murgh tikka - the most delicious chicken thigh marinated to perfection with a great char, with a lovely refreshing mint sauce that was more mint/acidic/runny, and less thick/yoghurt, which we loved. Hara tikka - again a delicious chicken thigh dish! Choc kheer tacos - there was no kheer / payesh, it was just a whipped light cream instead. It’s tempered choc discs in a mini taco shape - it’s a creative looking dish but flavour was lacking Rose kulfi - this was delicious! Distinct characteristic kulfi flavour, spice and texture with the perfect amount of rose water. Should have gotten 2 of these
To sum up, this place had great friendly service, great atmosphere, and there were some great dishes - we would recommend the rose kulfi, the chicken tikka, and the...

⭐☆☆☆☆ Absolutely Awful – Avoid at All Costs We went here 30/09/25 I went here with my partner and my two adult children, and it was without a doubt one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had.
From the start, things went downhill. When we sat down, they only handed me and my daughter a food menu, while my partner and son were only given drinks menus. Why on earth would a family of four not all receive food menus? We had to ask for two more, which was both confusing and unnecessary.
Then, my daughter, who had a cough, brought a half-drunk bottle of water from our hotel to sip if she needed. The staff told her she wasn’t allowed to finish it there. Really? Denying my daughter a sip of water is unreasonable and shows zero care for customers’ wellbeing.
The food ordering was an absolute disaster. We ordered 3 samosas, and only 2 arrived. When I pointed this out, the waitress then brought another 4, saying they come in sets of 2. I said I only wanted the one missing samosa, not extras, but the staff just didn’t seem to understand. The portion explanations were never made clear, leaving us completely confused. They do not state any potion sizes on the menu.
We also ordered onion bhajis and chicken bhajis, but again, the staff gave us the wrong impression of portion sizes, so everything felt mismatched and chaotic. On top of that, the food was terrible – bland, not authentic at all, and certainly not worth the price.
Speaking of price, the final bill was an absolute joke. For 2 cans of Coke, 1 San Miguel, 1 Sprite, 2 sets of 4 poppadoms with sauces, 2 portions of chicken pakoras, 2 portions of onion pakoras, and 4 samosas, the total came to 746,000 (including 10% tax and 6% service charge). That is outrageous given the poor quality of food and constant mistakes. The staff stand over you and watch you eat just bizarre, we cut our meal short, we left without having a main and went somewhere else! Overall, the service was disorganised, the food was awful, and the pricing was beyond unreasonable. Save your money and go literally anywhere else. This place is a...
Read moreMy partner and I were very excited to get a taste of India whilst holidaying in Bali. I consider myself to be a strong Indian food enthusiast back at home (Australia) and was looking forward to dining at the Queen's Tandoor Seminyak. We were greeted by a lovely lady at the side door, who took us to our table upstairs. At first impressions my partner and I were very happy with authenticity of the venue. Seeing many other parties dining there was also a good sign. We first ordered some papuadums with a few drinks. The man who took our order kept trying to upsell us and had a rather disinterested attitude towards us. Nevertheless the papuadums were extremely tasty and the green chutney was to die for. We then ordered our mains. Together our order included a chicken vindaloo, chicken Korma, vegetable biryani & butter naan. We couldn't wait! This was however, when things took a turn for the worst: The Vindaloo tasted like a bland butter chicken with some chilli powder, it's colour consistent with this (more orange that the typical red/brown). We were both bitterly disappointed with the lack of spices in a signature Indian dish. The Korma had no taste at all and comprised almost entirely of yoghurt. Again the colour and aroma of this curry were not what we'd come to expect. This curry was white, rather then the orange/yellow you would typically see with a Korma. The Veg Biryani was the only item that had some kind of spice taste. It was served with a naan cover which we thought was a very nice touch. The waitress open this cover and served us a few spoonfuls each. This was lovely and my partner and I really enjoyed that. The butter naan was also adequate, not great but not bad either. Fair to say that my partner and I were extremely disappointed with the curries and will not be dining here again nor recommending this venue to other...
