Sands Restaurant at The Anvaya Beach Resort Bali — Restaurant in Kuta

Summary: my partner and I dined here for a romantic holiday dinner , unfortunately we were horribly annoyed and not impressed, complete inadequate service for 5* hotel restaurant .

First of all the prices are high for what it is but it’s in a hotel so understandably so.. We ordered an expensive bottle of champagne and bottle of water which took over 20 minutes to arrive. The bottle came somewhat warm and the label was practically off the bottle... really unsure of how it was stored.. (excess humidity?)..the waiter did not even let me taste the champagne first before pouring it despite me explicably saying that my partner would taste it first! Huge mistake!! The champagne tasted off and we asked for an ice bucket to keep it cold ( since it didn’t arrive with one)...The server did not pour our champagne the entire night!! I consistently had to pour our glasses ( when your bottle costs $130 you expect proper service and when it’s 21% service fee Included you also expect that proper service..). Also bottle of water for 55,000 plus 21% service charge for 750ml is ridiculous...

Food: we ordered appetizers to start arrancini and a salad we asked the server for plates so we could share but only received them once we were done eating our appetizers... they were average tasting . We ordered two salmon mains and when we only received one the waiter forgot to order two.. so we waited another 30 minutes for the other plate.. When we asked for the bill .. 10 mins later still did not arrive so we had to go the host to get it instead.

Overall: Really inadequate and poor service for a 5* hotel restaurant . Definitely would not be returning. The restaurent was not busy at all maybe 4 tables so gives no excuse for poor service and lengthy food time wait. Especially when some staff seemed to be doing absolutely nothing. If you are serving high quality wines/champagne at these prices the servers should undergo proper...

Kalau stay di anvaya beach resort, kalian akan dapat breakfast di resto ini. But i think its worth to paid to get your dinner here, or maybe just snack and beverage while enjoying the sunset. I was trying many of restaurant near this place, along the same beach, and i never found this -so worth to paid- resto. The price is equal with what you paid. ♥ Pasta Three Sauce nya enak, creamy, ga kering setelah dingin, porsi besar, harga 90rb++ worth to paid untuk sebuah makanan di club tepi pantai. Meat Pizza crispy, tipis, keju banyak, saos tomat ga berlebihan, ada 2 size, 25 dan 30 cm. harga 95rb++. Indonesian food a lil bit too expensive (150-300rb++) maybe cos its only foreign will order that of menu on this kind of resto. =D Cocktail drink +-120rb, average price, nice portion, nice taste. ♥ Various range of wine, well explained, they even offer me a sample before order in a bottle. Harga in a bottle 350rb-450rb++, so affordable, setara dengan resto2 di kayu aya yang jauh dari pantai. Disini, you got that ocean view! At night, you can still hear the wave sound. So romantic. Pantainya sepi, tidak seramai pantai di belakang discovery mall. viewnya bagus, karena km bisa lihat pesisir pantai barat bali. Its super long sunset. 😍 Ps : the welcome bread its just average taste but big portion, served with balsamic oil and vinegar. I tried a bit, and prefer to get cracker in cheese dip 😅 Maybe its because im not that hungry. But thank you anyway Sands-Anvaya, I've got a sweet memory here. Sure will...

As we Stayed @theanvayabeachresortbali we got chance to indulge in lavish breakfast of there's.There are limited options for vegetarians but they are enough for one to fill the stomach.Best part is they have separate counter for the vegetarian food also Do not miss there cappuccino it's worth it❤️☕️ For dinner we tasted there Margarita Pizza , Alfredo Pasta in Penne, Strawberry pannacotta & LIIT everything can be coustomize according to your preferences the staff is so friendly and they literally make everything according to your taste.
