Depot Es Segar — Restaurant in Madiun

As a visitor, I really interested in trying the food here (one of Madiun's top culinary recommendations if I searched Google). I've tried the ice menus and some big meals here. Verdict? The ices were just ok actually. But it's fine for cooling yourself in the hot temperatur of Madiun. The meals were quite fine. I like the gepuk and also porridge (bubur: don't expect a porridge with soup. It's dry. Suitable for you Bandung's citizens! Love it!) I think it was quite expensive compared with other restaurants in Madiun. The servants were not so helpful but quick (I asked what is the favourite one here and they answer: nothing 😆). Needs PR...

Was excited because I was looking for a place with a lot of ice drinks. Did not meet expectation. The food was fine (ordered mi ayam jamur) but I can not recommend the ice that was offered. Sure, they have a variety of it, but the taste wasn't great. I ordered Ice teller, expecting jackfruit inside, but to my surprise, there were only syrup water...

I like the choices of ice. Indeed, segar (fresh). However, it's a bit pricy for Madiun itself. One morw thing, once I ate the noodle, which is called yamie, that I do not really call that so. In fact it is ordinary egg noodle. But still, I wanna come again and try another choice of menu....
