Dakgalbi Korean BBQ — Restaurant in Malang

The food are tasty, the experience interesting. BUT, you have to be EXTRA SUPER DUPER patient here. You have to ask several times of the same thing to the waiter/ress, often different PERSON than before because the previous one gone elsewhere without completing your request. Such as spoon and chopstick. There were 6 of us, only 1 set of spoon and chopstick on the table. Have to request to 3 different waiter/ress before finally, one of them comply. (Before repeating the request to other person, we waited for about 10minutes each) The food finally came after 20minutes since they took our request. They were raw food, since this is a "self cooking" restaurant. The waiting was actually okay, except that, when the food finally arrived, the charcoal still not placed. Waited another 10minutes and several requesting, the charcoal arrived. Then we have to wait for another 10 minutes for the right grill cover (2x we asked, 2x they came with smaller diameter grill cover that cant cover the entire charcoal) gosh! We waited again for garlic (requested 2x with about 10minutes in between) And another 15 minutes for the tongs and scissor to process the meat (holding and cutting)

Overall we spend 2hrs here and 1.5hrs was spend waiting. FYI, when we came, there were only 4 tables filled with guests, and 3 of them have already started eating. So, for me, the waiting time is unreasonable.

Such a shame, because the food does quite tasty, and the portion is quite large for us Indonesian people.
