Nakoa Cafe Bondowoso — Restaurant in Malang

Walking into this coffee shop in Malang felt like stepping into a serene oasis. The atmosphere is delightful, with plenty of greenery creating a calming vibe. The outdoor area is spacious and inviting, perfect for those who enjoy a breath of fresh air. Inside, the cool, comfortable air-conditioning offers a welcome respite from the heat.

The seating options are plentiful, ranging from casual spots to large study tables—ideal for both relaxing and getting work done. The food and drink selection is standard, much like other coffee shops, but the prices are impressively affordable for students.

I tried a large hot Americano, priced under 20k. While the taste was a bit watered down, with more hot water than espresso, it’s understandable given the price point. The downside is on the service time which is taking quite long to serve on my table. Parking lot is a pretty wide for cars.

After exploring many coffee shops, I found one coffee shop which I think is really worth it for students like us to visit 😀. Nakoa cafe Bondowoso is one of my favorite hangout cafes, it seems I have visited this cafe countless times. The reason why Nakoa is my favorite cafe is that most of the people who come here are students doing their assignments, so it makes the atmosphere of the cafe calm and not chaotic. The people at Nakoa also don't care about visitors, so I think Nakoa is really good for me time. My favorite menu here is the matcha latte 💚. Apart from the matcha latte, the drinks here are also delicious. The price is also standard, which is under 25,000. Nakoa Ijen adalah salah satu café di Malang yang menurutku punya vibes unik dan bikin betah banget. Lokasinya di Jl. Ijen yang strategis, gampang diakses dari berbagai penjuru kota. Begitu masuk, suasananya langsung terasa beda. Desain interiornya clean dan modern dengan dominasi warna putih dan kayu, ditambah jendela-jendela besar yang bikin pencahayaan alami masuk dengan cantik banget. Ada juga sentuhan tanaman-tanaman hijau di beberapa sudut yang bikin suasananya fresh dan adem.

Salah satu hal yang aku suka dari Nakoa Ijen adalah mereka punya area indoor dan outdoor yang sama-sama nyaman. Kalau kamu mau ngopi sambil kerja atau belajar, area indoor-nya cocok banget—tersedia colokan di banyak meja, WiFi kenceng, dan suasananya cukup tenang (kecuali pas jam-jam rame, ya). Kalau mau nongkrong santai sama teman, area outdoor-nya juga asik, dengan konsep semi-garden yang rapi dan estetik.

Untuk menu, Nakoa punya banyak pilihan kopi, non-kopi, dan makanan ringan. Aku pribadi suka banget sama kopi susunya—Nakoa Latte—rasanya balance, nggak terlalu strong, nggak terlalu creamy. Harganya juga standar café di Malang, sekitar 25-40 ribu untuk minuman, jadi masih ramah di kantong mahasiswa. Kalau kamu suka dessert, cobain deh croissant atau brownies-nya, enak banget buat teman ngopi.

Pelayanan di sini juga cukup oke. Baristanya ramah, pesanan disajikan dengan cukup cepat, meskipun kadang agak lama kalau lagi rame. Waktu tunggunya biasanya sekitar 10-20 menit pas jam sibuk. Oh ya, di beberapa waktu, café ini rame banget—apalagi pas weekend atau sore hari, jadi kalau mau datang untuk me-time atau kerja, mending datang pagi atau siang hari biar lebih sepi.

Satu catatan penting: area parkirnya agak terbatas, terutama untuk mobil. Kalau kamu bawa motor, masih oke, tapi kalau bawa mobil, kadang harus parkir agak jauh di pinggir jalan.

Secara keseluruhan, aku kasih 4.5/5 bintang untuk Nakoa Ijen. Cocok banget buat kamu yang cari tempat estetik, nyaman, dan cocok buat kerja atau nongkrong santai di Malang. Definitely...
