Rumah Kopi K8 — Restaurant in Manado

The vibes was so amazing...WOW ! The place is HOT (I mean the weather) no aircon, you can see most of the customer wipe their sweat three times every minute (yes,, I did count hahaha). They have a lot of fan but just couldnt help.

Coffee,,, for me to be honest was not suit to my taste for only used Robusta with 'dark profile of roasting'. (but dont get me wrong,,coffee is all about preference, you might love their coffee tho). I saw most of the local vibes are so into it 'kopi susu' (coffee + condense milk).

The food are mainly traditional recipe from the local. And it's was YUMMY... I love it...

For the owner, well done! You really did a good job for the vibes like that!!! Nice.

If I could give one suggestion, it will be perfect if you have room with aircon. *even the place was so hot people are still keep on...

Rumah Kopi K8 buka mulai pukul 06.00 hingga pukul 22.00, Last order pukul 21.00, di hari Senin hingga Sabtu, Minggu jelas tutup yack.. Gimana kalo hari libur Nasional tetap buka juga koq..

Sering disebut "K8” aja ini menyajikan bermacam-macam menu khas tradisional favorite Minahasa, Ada kukis (Kue) Onde-onde (Berbeda dengan onde-onde jawa/betawi, Onde-onde Minahasa berbahan baku ketan, gula merah (aren) dan kelapa mengkal, ketan dan gula merah diolah sedemikian rupa kemudian dikukus atau rebus selanjutnya dilaburi kelapa mengkal yang sudah dicukur dagingnya.) Kue Onde-onde ada dua macam disini, ada yg putih (basic) dan hijau (rasa pandan) keduanya favorite, kukis ini tersedia mulai pukul 15.00. Ada juga kukis Binyolos (Must try also,) Lumpia Basah/Goreng, and many more. Makanan juga tersedia bermacam-macam Tinutuan aka Bubur Manado, Bubur Ayam, Mie Cakalang (Traditional Noodle,) etc.. Kalo Minuman yah jelas Kopi yah tapi disini tersedia Kopi Tubruk sama kopi-kopi tradisional ala ala.. (Ga bakal ketemu espresso, machiato, cappuccino, caffè latte, dan temen-temennya itu, Huehehehe..) ada juga minuman-minuman jenis lainnya yg bisa ditemui di K8 ini.

Oh iya, ga semua menu akan tersedia sepanjang hari, karena ada menu untuk pagi hingga siang dan ada menu untuk sore sampai malam. So pastikan kamu order menu yang tepat.

Tempatnya rame banget, (Mungkin salah satu sebabnya karena deket Manado Town Square) sering kejadian harus berdiri nunggu antrian sangking ramenya tapi seru, tempat ini juga mostly open air, jadi bebas bagi para Perokok untuk ngrokok..

Harga?? Sangat sangat terjangkau..

Like the condensed milk coffee ( on menu its called 'Kopi Susu'), best paired with pisang goreng (fried banana) with many choices. Suggest to visit before 8.30am before it gets too crowded. No wifi. No big deal for me personnally. That is the essence of traditional coffee shop where you talk to each other, even strangers. First floor offer a more traditional coffee shop experience. Second floor is more modern. Free parking. In fact the guy who look after the parking lot (aka tukang parkir) will refuse a tip, which is rarely...
