I had a Pizza and a shake here. Pizza was flavourful but the dough wasn't so nice. Not for me anyway. Banana and Berry shake was very nice. However their service wasn't great. I had to ask for a menu after 10 minutes of waiting as no one came over. Then when pizza came they didn't bring knife and fork or napkins. Staff were very nice. Lovely view too.

The bruschetta was amazing! Calamari not so much. Pizza base needs to be cooked more. In saying that the food was still great and tasty. Super clean place, epic views and old school tunes. Worth the stop.

My partner and I have been riding past this place a few times since it’s located next to the road, perched on the side of the cliff, overlooking the entire ocean. It may come across as unassuming at first because it’s never crowded and packed like the other places but give it a chance. We ordered the avocado costini which was generous and delicious. Then, following up with the special mie goreng and special Nasi goreng. A lot of places claim to have special fried noodles and special fried rice. But none are comparable to Black Garlic’s fried noodles and fried rice. It was truly the best ones we’ve had in Indonesia and we were incredibly impressed. We have a few more days in Nusa Penida and are planning to go back to sample more of their menu. Do yourself or your traveling partner a favour, bring them there for lunch or dinner, spoil them with the views and perhaps have the best mie goreng and nasi goreng they might have eaten on this trip. Their music playlist is pretty amazing as well!

Top tip: they have a happy hour 2 for 1 cocktails from 18:00-20:00! How can a place be anymore rounded...

Wir waren auf der Suche nach einem schönen Warung/Restaurant und haben uns für das Black Garlic entschieden, da es auch sehr gut erreichbar mit dem Roller ist. Die Terrasse ist direkt am Meer, super schön und mit Sonnenschutz. Die Mitarbeiter dind sehr freundlich und wir hatten ein super leckeres und frisches Essen mit besonders viel Liebe angerichtet!

Der Reis mit Knoblauch ist super lecker und die Portionen sind genau ausreichend! Ich hatte das Sate Ayam, wo die Soße sogar noch mit einem feinen Hauch Ingwer verfeinert wurde.

Mein Freund hatte ein total leckeres Gericht mit Gebratenen Nudeln und ein Club Sandwich, dazu gab es sogar noch French Fries.

Probiert unbedingt die Smoothies auf der Karte! Die sind mit frischem Joghurt und einfach nur klasse!

Ich würde hier definitiv wieder essen gehen und kann es jedem nur...
