Great food, everything was good. Well balanced flavor, small menu but mastered. Tuna tartar was perfect, the crab entree as well. My friends loved their randang & mango salad. My prawn laksa was so so good. I am rarely so enthusiastic but I loved the delicate originality of the menu, for the quality prices are good. The service was nice and attentive as well.

I would say the place could use a bit more decoration to give it a more inviting atmosphere.

One thing: the owner trying to charge an extra 4% to pay with a local bank card... I've lived here long enough and dealt with enough banks to know very well the percentages. With such a good experience I also expect good business practices. I'd rather leave a good tip, which I did with pleasure. I don't blame the owner, everyone still does it in Lembongan, but it's disappearing in Bali and most cities in Indonesia as it's not well... Suppose to happen! And overseas cards are 1.8% bank fee FYI.

But again, great great dinner, I will be happy to go back next time I visit the island and recommend it...

STAY AWAY Unfortunately had a terrible experience here. Ordered the barbeque king prawn, of which two of the five tasted too old and had a mushy consistency. Worse yet was the bowl my girlfriend had ordered, of which the rice was positively drenched in soy sauce which made it so salty you couldn't eat it. Upon hearing our complaint, instead of any empathy we got "why didn't you complain earlier", three times over even after explaining. My girlfriend had only eaten a few of the toppings, and I had eaten the 3 good prawn because the bad ones turned out to be the last. Shame on us for not knowing the food was bad before our first bite I guess. Upon paying (the full bill, naturally, with 3% added for paying by card) the interrogation continued, again why we hadn't complained earlier, and also where we were staying. This last bit didn't seem relevant unless meant to threaten. Terrible evening, which came as a big surprise considering the overall...

My favourite place on Lembongan! I make a point of trying lots of restaurants around the world and enjoy fine dining etc etc. The food here is so beautiful and world class - I came twice and had BBQ dishes each time - Tuna and mixed seafood. They were both marinated and cooked perfectly, and all the side dishes were flavourful and perfectly balanced - the sambal was 👌 I also tried the sea salt sponge desert and it was SO yum! Ngurah was so so lovely and kind and dropped me home each time because I was too scared to hire a scooter (lol). All of the other staff were so lovely too and I love BoBo the doggy. Would definitely recommend coming here ~ also has great views and atmosphere. I will be back next time I’m on...
