Reynold Artha Guest House — Hotel in Nusa Penida Subdistrict

I decided to spend an extended period of time on Nusa Lembongan and came across Reynold Artha Guesthouse. I visited the place in person and was welcomed so warmly by the family who runs it, which made it immediately feel like the right choice.🙏🏼

The room I stayed in was spacious, very clean, and super comfortable, with a great bed, a proper hot shower 🚿, and air conditioning that worked really well. Each room has a little terrace in front, perfect for sitting outside and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.🌿🌺 The pool is beautiful and tucked away from the street, which makes it a lovely, quiet spot to relax. There’s plenty of sun throughout the day, but also shaded areas under the umbrellas if you prefer to stay cool.☀️

Reynold Artha Guesthouse is located in my favorite part of Lembongan. It’s not in the busiest area, which I loved. It’s calm and peaceful but still just a short walk (about 5 to 10 minutes) to Mushroom Beach 🍄, where some boats to Bali depart, as well as other beaches, great restaurants, cozy cafes, warungs, and small shops.

There’s usually a family member nearby if you need anything, and otherwise they’re always quick to respond via WhatsApp or phone.📱 They truly go out of their way to help with anything and make you feel like you’re part of their home while you’re there.

I booked for 3 nights but I ended up staying for a week. The room is lovely. Big comfy bed, little balcony where you eat breakfast, big walk-in shower, AC. The only improvement would be that my shower was a bit temperamental in terms of hot water and about a third of the time ran cold. The service was excellent. The homestay is owned by a lovely couple who were very friendly and helped with everything I needed. The wife cooks breakfast fresh every day to order and cleaned my room daily while I was out. They rented me a scooter at a reasonable cost. They also sorted a snorkelling trip for me and a motorbike to the port when I left. They also provide free mineral water to refill your bottle. The grounds are very nice, with a nice pool and sun loungers. The location is down a side street, quite far up from the beach (about 15-20 walk depending which direction). This was not a problem for me as I rented a scooter but if you wanted to be near the water then it is quite far. However, the trade-off is that it’s very quiet and peaceful due to its location, and I slept very well every night. Value for money. Service is fantastic, friendly accommodating host and staff. Helped us with info about the ferry to penida. Room was clean, bedding and towels clean too. Some damp (no smell though) and paint pealing but didn’t affect our stay. Bathroom could do with a good scrub and no hot water but for the price you pay it’s still a good stay. Breakfast was great, decent portion, a few good options to choose from. Bali coffee was delish.
