Tamarillo Penida — Restaurant in Nusa Penida Subdistrict

Service was great. The lady was really kind. The food though was mediocre (I also found a bug in my noodles) The atmosphere was ok. Just next to the road. Answer to your comment: first of all you make me regret my 3 stars cause your answer is kinda offensive and full of excuses. Dear friend, first of all we ate the food in the plates because after a long day exploring and traveling we were so hungry and tired. So we had to eat and it wasn't bad!I didn't say it was bad food that one cannot eat. I said it's not a place that I think it's worth going again! That's why I used the word "mediocre" Secondly it's offensive saying that due to our tiredness we looked like "the people who would write a bad review" You judge clients from their faces? A tired face makes me a bad person? Thanks! If you check my total reviews I have like 30 positive ones to great places and only 2 negative!!!! That's because I am a person who doesn't like commenting negative things. Even at my initial comment I was the kindest I could. Even to you I was kind that's why I said " no worries" cause it was awkward! Oh and dear friend..I found the bug inside the food 2 bites before finishing it. If I had found it earlier then the food would be there! Oh and the comment about the previous guests how is related? I didn't complain to you further at that time cause I didn't need your free food if that's what you are accusing me of! If I needed free food i wouldn't be on vacation at Bali!...

We came for a dinner to Tamarillo and our experience was really good! First of all the service was amazing, atmosphere is really nice (all brand new furnitures, good music and very clean place) and the star of the night were our parmigiana with fries and salad, the size of the parmigiana was super big and the fries and salad as well, we couldn't finish with all the plate because we were super full. Then we spoke with the owner and she seemed to be open to hear feedback from us given it's a new place in Nusa. After being in many restaurants here I would definitely come back here, if you like good food and nice atmosphere place come here, you won't regret it. My mother and I stayed in Nusa Penida for 5 nights and came back to eat at Tamarillo Penida every night. The food was excellent and the staff were exceptional, the kindest people who made each night such a fun and wholesome experience. Another thing to add - I am anaphylaxis to nuts, the waitress and chefs were so so understanding and I had no problem with the food. I found the place super clean and tidy and the meal sizes are large and left us feeling more than satisfied each time. If you’re coming to Nusa Penida I 100% recommend this place.
