Top local food, family and environment - This place is a must!
I popped here for dinner after getting back quite late from my day's adventures. I hadn't seen the reviews rating or comments, just knew it was one of the few places still open and good. I was immediately greeted and made to feel looked after, ordered the Beef Rendang, Fried (unbattered) Chicken, Rice and Sayur Ijo. My first mouthful was bliss. I've had a lot of beef rendang over the years but this was top flavours, the green chilli was delicious and although hot, I made little parcels with the rice and cucumber so I could eat it. The Ijo tasted like muscle soup (so good), and it was nice to have a good portion of greens in a meal. I had a lovely chat with the owners mum who was the sweetest lady I've met since arriving. I loved the music, the vibe, the other people buzzing in and out even though it was 10pm and the immediate feelings of family I felt from them all. I am travelling and was made to feel at home, welcome and part of the family, which meant even more to me than the incredibly tasty food. I took this picture just before my first mouthful. I spoke with everyone after dinner and had a few hugs and pictures.
Thank you for such wonderful food, a fabulous experience and brilliant Island welcome. You made me feel at home, which meant so much to me, as I haven't seen my family in a very long time - see...

We just had lunch here and were shocked by the price. We ordered: 2 plates of plain white rice 4 small pieces of fried tempeh 2 sambal goreng eggs 2 small portions of rendang 1 additional ayam bakar (grilled chicken) later 2 Coca-Colas
They charged us 185,000 IDR, which is ridiculously overpriced for such a simple meal. Right after we paid, I saw a local couple pay only 63,000 IDR for a very similar order.
This place clearly scams tourists. DO NOT GO HERE if you’re not a local. Extremely unfair and disappointing.
I'm not here to compare the price-quality ratio of a warung to that of a restaurant. This is about the principle that a tourist is charged three times as much as a local for practically the same meal. That is simply deception and unfair treatment. This kind of behavior would never happen in a proper restaurant. Your response shows a lack of understanding and respect for honest feedback. Very disappointing that you’re not taking this...
Read moreWe stayed in Nusa Lembongan for 4 days and 3 nights. All those nights we spent by dining in this warung because the food was great and there were plenty of choices. We did order different kinds of foods every night.
On the first night: fried catfish, fried vermicelli and fuyung hai.
Second night: grilled chicken, meatballs and fried noodles.
Third which is also our last night: geprek (smashed) chicken, chicken soto and fried rice.
We've been looking around for another warung or restaurant but we've always ended up here hahaha. We were just scared that we couldn't get another food that was on the same level as this warung.
On top of that, the people who work here are nice and have good hospitality. They know how to interact with people whether they're local or foreign tourists.
Overall, if I ever come back. Surely, I will eat here again. I wish nothing but the best for...
