We were told Nusa Penida would be the kind of place where once you’ve found a good warung, you’ll just keep coming back - this was it for us! We ate here 3 times during our week on the island and sampled pretty much everything on the menu - all amazing! Black pepper beef, chicken satay, nasi goreng, mie goreng, gado gado... difficult to pick a favourite. We ate here on two consecutive nights. Amazing food, really good value for money! Above all else, we were so welcomed and served with such kindness. It was our first trip to Nusa penida and were grateful for the travel tips. My boyfriend had been recovering from illness and on hearing this they brought him fresh fruit to help him feel better. We had also asked where we could get petrol for our scooter nearby and without hesitation, the staff went and got our gas for us!! One of the best dinner in my travels. To start with, when you arrive a very genuine guy (owner) with a very welcoming smile and attitude makes you feel like you are having dinner at your home. On the important bit, the food is top staff, very tasty and generous food. I had the tuna steak and it was amazing, my friend had the sweat and sour chicken which was also delicious.
