During a recent visit to a charming restaurant in Padang, I enjoyed a delightful selection of dishes and beverages. Despite arriving on a Saturday afternoon, the restaurant was not crowded, allowing for a peaceful dining experience.

The spaghetti bolognese and chicken cordon bleu were standout dishes, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The oxtail soup (sop buntut) was also exceptionally savory, showcasing rich, comforting tastes. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee added a cozy ambiance to the place, making it even more inviting.

Though the restaurant is not very spacious, it is well-kept and clean. The fresh bread and fried snacks were served warm, adding to the overall quality of the meal. The service was friendly and prompt, enhancing our dining experience.

Prices were reasonable, providing good value for the quality and variety of food offered. However, the limited parking space could be a drawback during busier times.

one of my highlights during my stay in padang is the food! & hoya is one of the best places to get food here; their menu variations go from indonesian to western- u name it, they have it all… & wow, everything (& i mean everything) tasted so good! plus the pricing is super affordable, not expensive at all.

i would recommend their thai fish- super fresh & delicious, bitterballen- the best appetizer/snack sooo crunchy on the outside & the bite just melts in your mouth, their ceaser salad portion is too generous i love it, & their soups are good too! be sure to check out their bakery as well & try the vanilla cream horn!
