Even though Im Indonesian, Im not actually a big fan of indonesian food. Like i could eat it but I prefer to eat something else most of the time.

The meal here though, was very satisfying.

Portion was generous. There were 3 of us but we bought the 4 person package.

The rice was a lot and delicious as it was placed inside the kendi. I love the kerak so much.

Both chicken was tender and easy to peel. I am biased to the fried one.

The dry sardine sambal was the best. I can’t actually eat or tolerate sambal that much, so I do appreciate that their sambal was not that spicy. But they have other freeflow sambal too that I believed was much more spicier.

Honestly it was a very satisfying lunch. The poci tea was also nice and refillable.

Waroeng Sunda Express is a Sundanese and Javanese restaurant that comes up in an modern and simple ambiance. They provide variant of Halal Indonesian foods from the appetizer, fish, chicken, rice package, meat, vegetables, noodles, snacks, along with the traditional drinks and coffee. Everything is in an affordable price with friendly service. It's good to order some dishes for sharing.

The cool thing is they serve free flow sambal kecap, sambal mangga, sambal kalasan, sambal tomat, and rujak.
