At Hyde Complex — Restaurant in Palembang

Love the atmosphere, more to outdoor settings with greeneries & extended indoor on the second floor. The complex consists of 3 tenants, Hito Kito (japanese), Majopajo (desserts) & Mutual (coffee). Have to order & pay in advance, then food will be delivered to you. It is quite inconvenient if you seat at the second level.

Had high hopes for their food BUT turns out they do not live up to expectations. Ordered chicken & saikoro curry rice and chicken mushroom omurice. Curry is very runny & very few, & do not taste authentic. Omurice is way too salty & mushy, with a few piece of chicken which is not worthy for 49k++. Feel queasy afterwards.

The desserts are okay (banoffee, lotus pudding), Majopajo ice cream tastes ok too to beat the sunny weather, but too pricey portion wise (39k+).

The place suits you who wanted to have afternoon coffee, but not worthy...

the atmosphere and ambience of this place is really goodd! the service is alright but… the food is totally not worth the price🙃

everything is so SALTY! we ordered ramen, karaage, and chicken katsu curry rice and we couldn’t even finish all of them😖

the ramen soup is the worst of all the things we ordered. we asked for their best seller one but it was incredibly salty and sooooo oily, even bitter. the chicken in the chicken katsu was really dry and the breading was a little too hard. the karaage is a bit better but it is still too salty. thankfully the price isn’t that expensive for a “cafe” but even then surely they could do better than this.

however, the coffee mocktail was pretty good!! would only come back...

The atmosphere is really nice. The place is cozy. I really like the VIP rooms because it had a comfy chair and table and cold AC.

But the food is pretty awful. I order Sushi which comes in cold rice and a cream cheesy pastry, the sauce is way too salty and savory for a pastry that I ended up not eating it. With such price, the portion is also pretty small.

The coffee is pretty good and I recommend it, and also there's tax and vip cost, which shouldn't be a big problem. Overall, I think it's a good place to be working or studying, but I won't...
