Koppi Kitchen Palembang — Restaurant in Palembang

Coming in on their second day since they are open. The place is kinda hidden within the small alleyway (and some cars blocked the entrance that i almost got lost. Relying hard on the GPS).

The moped parking zone is pretty good actually. Despite being rather small, the trees are covering the zone and i have no worries about hot seat when im leaving.

The place is well well decorated and feels cozy to hang out as well. I have a smol issue regarding the sink when i was about to wash my hands, as the water coming out slowly, hence i had to use my baby wipe tissue instead (your mileage may vary on this one, because i was coming as they prepared the place).

Ordered Cloud Coffee Milk (and free Coffee Shake as the opening promo actually), French Fries as appetizer, and finally for the main course is Chicken Katsu Fried Rice with Sambal Matah.

The french fries is decent, its not seasoned so you really need to dip it with the dipping sauce that comes with it (sambal and tomato sauce). For the price, i think its decent tho i had seen a better one out there.

The Cloud Coffee Milk itself is pretty good, recommended for those who really avoids something too sweet (good alternative for diabetic people).

The only problem (big one sadly) is the Chicken Katsu Fried Rice with Sambal Matah, i feel like the chicken isnt being seasoned at all (bland). And the amount of the sambal itself isnt adequate enough for the dish.

Not only that, i had to wait for about 30-45 minutes for the drinks. And 45 minutes for my fried rice qfter i got my fries. Its not acceptable and i know these guys can do better.

I give this place 4 stars however, because the staffs are very hospitable to me while waiting for my food and very understanding about the issues that i got when they give me wrong dish 3 times in a row (yes, 3 times in a row, but they acknowledged their mistakes, which is great).

We came for brunch on Sunday. Actually the place looks nice. However, the service was so poor. After placing and paying our orders, our main course didn’t come out after waiting for more than an hour. When we asked the waiter, he said that they missed our order because the wifi was off. Which for us didn't really make sense given that our drinks and appetizer came out not long after we sat in our seats. The worst thing is the owner didn't want to admit their lack of service (obviously he doesn't know how to handle a disappointed customer). And worst, in unsympathetic way said he said he will just give us a refund for our food that didn't came out. Well, it’s not about the money but it’s about the time that we wasted and the negative emotions they caused. Absolutely won't be...

Disappointed with the service.

Arrived at 7.42 PM, and until now, 8.52, my order has not arrived yet. I tried calling the waiter, and the waiter looked directly at us, and we were glad he heard us. But he suddenly walked away and ignored us. Some waitresses in front had to back up the cashier because the cashier staff doesn’t seem to comprehend the machine and has trouble understanding the menu. The staff definitely needs more training.

However, the place is astonishing. It has a beautiful outdoor décor with a small pond and bridge, tree placement, and live music. Though at night, there are SO many mosquitoes, which is understandable, but probably needs to be taken care of in the future.
